SIBM Pune Admission Process

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune offers admission to postgraduate programmes. SIBM Pune admissions are offered to MBA, MBA Executive and MBA Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Before applying for admission, candidates need to meet the SIBM Pune MBA eligibility criteria. Symbiosis Pune MBA admission is based on the merit in the entrance exam: SNAP.

SIBM Pune admission process for MBA and MBA Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme is carried out in two steps, i.e. candidates’ performance in the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test followed by Group Exercise, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT).

For SIBM Pune admission to the MBA Executive programme, candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the Personal Interview (PI) conducted by SIBM Pune. Final admission at SIBM Pune is confirmed after verification of requisite documents and SIBM Pune admission fee payment.

SIBM Pune Application Process 2024

Visit the official website of Symbiosis International University.
Candidates applying for the SNAP exam, should register for the SNAP exam and pay the SNAP exam fees.
Then, enter the choice of programme(s) through the SNAP exam and pay the respective programme registration fee.
Fill in the application form by entering personal, academic, and communication details as asked.
Upload the required documents including a recent passport-size photograph and qualifying exam mark sheet.
Pay the application fee online via debit card/ credit card or net banking or demand draft.

SIBM Pune MBA Admissions 2024

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune offers three postgraduate programmes. SIBM Pune courses at the PG level include MBA, MBA Executive and MBA Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The SIBM Pune eligibility criteria for MBA is that the candidates must have passed graduation with an aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent grade at graduation level from any recognised university/Institution of National Importance.

SIBM Pune MBA Eligibility Criteria 2024

MBA	240	Graduate from any recognised University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ ST) at graduation level. Candidates appearing for final year exams can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying exam. + Valid score in entrance exam: SNAP.
MBA Executive	60	Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45 % marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe) at graduation level. Graduation through Distance Education is accepted provided it is approved/recognized by UGC or AICTE. Minimum 1 year full-time work experience after graduation in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational/ government, autonomous organisation. + Selection of students shall be done on the basis of Personal Interview.
MBA Innovation and Entrepreneurship	60	Candidate should be a graduate with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC / ST) at graduation level. Candidates appearing for final year exams can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying exam. + Valid score in entrance exam: SNAP.

SIBM Pune MBA Admission Process 2024: MBA/ MBA Innovation and Entrepreneurship

First, candidates are required to register and apply on the official website of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
Next, candidates have to appear for the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test, which is a common written test for admission to all Symbiosis postgraduate institutes.
To qualify for admission, candidates must clear the SNAP exam 2024, Personal Interaction (PI), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Group Exercise (GE).
SIBM Pune MBA admission is offered based on the performance of candidates in the SNAP Test and GE-PIWAT.
Later, candidates should get their documents verified and pay the SIBM Pune admission fee.

SIBM Pune MBA Executive Admission Process 2024

Candidates have to register and submit an online application form on the official website of SIBM Pune.
Then, selected candidates should appear for a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by SIBM Pune.
Selection of students for SIBM Pune MBA Executive admission shall be done based on a Personal Interview.
The last step includes seat allotment, verification of documents and payment of course fee.

Academics

The faculty were of high calibre, mostly the alumni, which creates a sense of belonging among the students. The teaching methods here mainly involves case studies, but be reminded of the surprise tests which holds high percentage in the final grade. There is a high level of industrial exposure, due to the connection between BHEL and BIM.

Academics

The faculty is both on campus and visiting. Professors from B Schools across the country come to teach the courses. The course curriculum is almost similar to the curriculum at other B Schools with mandatory subject in 1st year and electives offered in 2nd year.

Course curriculum is robust to give the fair industry exposure and it is in accordance with the most .Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holder and have very good knowledge in their field. Most curriculum is case study based which puts one to feel to take decisions in real scenario.

can i get admission in symbiosis without giving set entrance

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing great.

Coming to your question, NO you cannot get admission into Symbiosis without giving the SET. The admission will only be provided through the entrance exam conducted by the university. Other than this there is no other way. So, you need compulsorily give this exam.

When it comes to sports quota, Symbiosis doesn't have a specific sports quota for admissions. However, during the Personal Interaction process, they do give due weightage to sports achievements and participation. This means that if you have a strong sports background, it can definitely work in your favor during the admission process.
