      Placements

The placement in my college was decent enough, every year we come across several numbers of students getting placed in very renowned company... We were provided seperate guidelines for placement......

      Others

The college was good , specially when it has the tag of Delhi University... We were getting benefits of this tag in several ways , during our placement also ... The infrastructure was well developed, surroundings was decent and safe ..it was students friendly.. I will surely recommend this college to my known ones... The price money is not that affordable because living in Delhi is costly itself but if you get scholarship then you can easily manage things and live a decent life.. Market was near

A Decent College If You Want A Delhi University Degree.

      College Infrastructure

College has sports grounds, labs, library, auditorium, and Wi-Fi in some areas.Certain parts of campus reportedly need maintenance, though others praise its spacious grounds and facilities. No hostel facilities, so out-station students must arrange PG/hostel on their own.

      Academics

Many students find the faculty knowledgeable, cooperative, and supportive. Teachers help with doubts and are fairly helpful academically. But some are inconsistency a few professors may be less engaging.

      Placements

Placement support exists, with cells arranging drives and internships, especially for commerce and economics students.Packages are generally modest — average packages usually around ₹3–5 LPA, higher packages reported ~7–10 LPA in some courses.

      Value for Money

What I feel that the fees are reasonable for a DU degree, given infrastructure and faculty quality. Many students feel the fees are reasonable for a DU degree, given infrastructure and faculty quality.

      Campus Life

At Shyam Lal They have a decent fest and other societies that makes the campus life a little good. Many students enjoy the festivals, sports, societies and events. The normal/average campus life, nothing too vibrant, depending on individual expectation.

It is an average DU college with good facilities

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

colleges infrastructure is good enough for most academic needs classrooms and labs are functional, the library is strong with wi-fi and study points are there. It is not a super large or ultra modern campus like DU colleges but overall it supports regular college life and learning well.

      Academics

Academics at college are decent and classes are regular and teachers try to make concepts easy to understand. Most learning depends on self study but the college provides a good foundation for exams and further studies.

      Placements

Placements at the college are limited some companies visit for internships and entry level roles, mainly IT, finance and sales. The college provides basic guidance and resume help, but most students rely on off-campus jobs.

      Value for Money

Fees are reasonable for a DU college and students get access to regular classes, labs and a well equipped library and hostel facilities are not available the college provides a solid academic environment at affordable cost

      Campus Life

The environment is safe and disciplined while life of campus is simple there are not many extracurricular activities or clubs, so students mostly stick to academics and group hangouts and it is not very lively.

      Normal crowd, average teaching quality

      College Infrastructure

Classrooms are normal, some have fans and projectors but not in all rooms. Buildings look old in some parts and need repair. Library is okay for exams but limited seating. Labs are basic, not very advanced. Campus is small and not very clean always. Overall it works for daily college life, but don’t expect anything more.

      Academics

A few professors teach seriously and clear doubts, but some just read from slides. Attendance matters more than understanding sometimes. You can score well if you study on your own. Notes and assignments help during exams. Overall, academics are average and depend a lot on your studies.

      Placements

Very limited companies come and most roles are sales or support type with low salary. Only top students get placed, others struggle a lot. College promises placements but reality is different. You must work on your own skills and look for off-campus jobs. Not good if you want placement.

      Value for Money

College is okay for the fees you pay. Don’t expect big campus or fancy facilities. Teachers are average, some are helpful, some just finish syllabus. Attendance pressure is there. Infrastructure is basic but usable. Crowd is mixed. If you just want a degree at low cost, it’s value for money.

      Campus Life

Campus life is decent but very normal. No luxury or high level exposure. Classes happen regularly, teachers are okay. Campus is small and gets quiet after classes. Few activities and limited clubs. Friends make it better. Good for students who just want a degree and peaceful campus.

Classes fine, hostel crowded, life mostly boring here.

      College Infrastructure

The campus is okay, not too big but not too small either. Classrooms are average, some are clean while others need maintenance. Labs have basic equipment, but a few things are outdated. Library is decent, enough books but not very spacious. Sports facilities are limited, only a few options for games. Overall, the infrastructure works, but it’s nothing special.

      Academics

The college academics are average. The syllabus is complete, but teaching quality really depends on the professor. Some classes are helpful, others just feel like going through the motions. There are not many interactive sessions, and practical is limited. You need to put in extra effort outside class to really learn. Overall, it’s fine if you just want to pass or get basic knowledge.

      Placements

Placement opportunities are okay. A few good companies visit, but most packages are mid-level. The placement cell organizes training, but it’s not enough for everyone. Hard work on your own makes a big difference.

      Value for Money

Fees are not too high, but the facilities could be better. Classrooms are okay, library is small, and labs sometimes don’t have enough equipment. Teachers are mostly helpful but a few don’t really care. You can manage your studies here, but don’t expect anything extra.

      Campus Life

Campus life is average. Some teachers are helpful, some are not. The campus is okay, nothing fancy. Food is regular, hostels are crowded sometimes. A few clubs and events happen, but not often. Friends are nice, but overall, it’s just normal.

I hope my review help others make wise decisions for student

      College Infrastructure

The college boasts good infrastructure, including comfortable classrooms, a mess hall, and a sports ground. The campus features a well-stocked library, updated computer labs, and a dedicated common area for female students.

      Academics

The college boasts knowledgeable and resourceful faculty who provide an updated curriculum and teaching methods, helping students build a strong foundation and gain practical understanding and confidence.

      Placements

Placement opportunities for undergraduate students at this college are limited. The number of recruiters is low, and salaries are minimal, requiring students to independently seek desirable employment.

      Value for Money

Apart from placement, this college offers excellent facilities for its affordable fees (around 10-12k per annum), including a good mess with reasonably priced food, a well-stocked library, and knowledgeable faculty.

It is okay but you can consider any north campus college

      College Infrastructure

Good infrastructure ,two large buildings, two gardens and one large playground All type of labs and a large library, lifts and cameras, security is very tight every room has its specific wifi router with high speed

      Academics

Teachers are good and well experienced ,students are very helpful most of students have great cgpa nearly of above7.5 Mostly teachers provide reading material to students from which they can make their study easier

      Placements

There are no much placements in my course , But i think there are many students who get job from science courses mostly students in this college are part of any society in which they gather experience which helps them to getting a job

      Value for Money

Fee is higher compared to other colleges

The college is quite good. But upgrade it you have chance.

      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is decent enough. Wi-Fi isn’t enabled for students but teachers can access. Library is also good. The college has hockey ground, kabaddi ground, a normal ground, volleyball court, many gardens, amphitheater, seminar room, conference room, computer labs, labs of various subjects, multipurpose hall.Canteen food is much affordable and it’s good in taste

      Academics

The teachers are well-professionally trained and there knowledge is good. They are not very strict they are good, they are very cooperative and helpful. They provide every sort of help possible from their side.

      Placements

It’s an off campus college although the website of Delhi University says it’s a north campus college. So placement is poor here. You cannot expect the level of placements as much as you receive in north or south campus. The highest package is 7.5LPA and average package is 3.7LPA.

      Value for Money

It’s a college of Delhi University but still the fees is quite high Rs.28,500 annual for first year in BA. But I can say that is a good value for money.

      Campus Life

I’d say it’s average. My seniors told that the crowd has changed a lot after introduction of CUET. So the college crowd has a average level of campus life. It is in Shahadra so please don’t think it’s a North Campus college. Teachers are good here. Campus is small and it has lot of buildings. The nearest metro is welcome. While coming from metro side. There is a lot of bad smell in road. Our college is famous for best DU hockey team.

      Others

Please don’t take this college if you think it’s a north campus college cuz geographically it’s not located there.

Good college with good college life

      College Infrastructure

The campus is compact but well-planned, with separate wings for classrooms, labs, and administrative offices. The library is well-stocked and allows access to DU’s online journal database. Computer labs are air-conditioned and have updated software. Sports facilities include a cricket pitch, basketball area, and indoor games. The canteen serves hygienic food at affordable rates.

      Academics

Faculty focus on both theory and application. They encourage critical thinking through presentations, case studies, and group discussions. Regular internal tests and project work help students understand concepts better. Academic clubs run quizzes, group discussions, and research workshops for hands-on learning.

      Placements

While big-brand recruiters may be limited, the college does well with internship tie-ups. NGOs, e-commerce startups, and local firms offer marketing, finance, HR, and research roles. The placement cell organizes mock GDs and interview-prep sessions to build student confidence.

      Value for Money

The fees are minimal for the facilities provided. Students benefit from DU’s credibility and can join certificate courses or internships at very low cost, making the entire experience budget-friendly.

      Campus Life

Societies like drama, music, photography, entrepreneurship, and environmental clubs ensure a lively atmosphere. Annual fests and inter-college events bring a celebratory feel to the campus.

      Good college with good faculty

      College Infrastructure

The college features a combination of traditional architecture and new-age facilities. Seminar halls with audio-visual setups, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and eco-conscious lawns create a pleasant environment. Sports facilities include a well-maintained ground and indoor recreation spaces. Safety measures like CCTV and dedicated security staff add to students’ comfort.

      Academics

DU syllabus is taught rigorously, but with flexibility—faculty members arrange remedial classes for weaker students and career counseling workshops for those preparing for competitive exams. Departments such as Commerce, Economics, and Political Science are particularly strong. Guest lectures from industry professionals and alumni help bridge the gap between academics and real-world exposure.

      Placements

The placement cell invites a variety of organizations for campus drives—mainly NGOs, research firms, marketing agencies, and startups. Students also get help in finding internships during semester breaks. Alumni mentoring sessions guide final-year students about career choices.

      Value for Money

The college’s low fees combined with quality faculty, digital resources, and DU certification make it one of the best return-on-investment options in East Delhi. Students receive career support without financial stress.

      Campus Life

Beyond academics, the college buzzes with events—cultural fests, debates, talent shows, and NSS social drives. Students often collaborate with societies across DU, building a wide network.
