Gargi College has a beautiful and green campus that's perfect for Botany students. You’ll find a huge variety of plants and trees all around, which is honestly a big plus for anyone studying life sciences. The classrooms and labs are well-maintained, and the Botany labs especially are equipped with all the necessary instruments. The library is also a great place to study, with good reference books for our course.

The academics at Gargi are really strong. The Botany department has excellent faculty members who are supportive, well-experienced, and explain concepts clearly. Lab staff are also super helpful, especially during practicals. In my two years here, I haven't faced any academic issues. We also get opportunities to go on field visits and excursions, which makes learning even more interesting and practical.

Botany (Hons.) doesn’t have a huge placement culture like professional courses, but Gargi still offers decent opportunities. Students often go for higher studies, research internships, or exams like UPSC, CUET PG, or MSc entrances. The college has a placement cell that regularly shares opportunities, though for Botany student placements may depend more on individual career paths

Considering the quality of education, campus, and exposure we get, Gargi offers great value for money. The fees are quite affordable, especially for a DU college, and the learning experience, resources, and faculty support totally justify it.

Campus life at Gargi is vibrant and active. There are lots of fests, societies, and events throughout the year, so it’s not just academics all the time. The environment is friendly and safe, and you’ll find a mix of chill hangout spots and peaceful green areas to relax or study. It’s a girls’ college, but honestly, that adds to the sense of community and comfort on campus.

College infrastructure is good availablity of library, labs new buliding has been open now with nice infrastructure wifi is available in whole area sone classrooms have smart boards for effective studies

Academic in the college is very good teacher pay lot of attention to each student for their growth new education policy has been adopted with different types of projects assignment included teacher are quite understanding

Placement in the campus good with highest placement offer of around 18 lakhs and average package of 4 to 5 lakhs Getting jobs is quite challenging as you need to have proper skills and knowledge about the topic to be eligible

You can try this college it's in south Delhi with a clean environment but it's only girls college so restrictions are there

Yes gargi college has all the necessary infrastructure...the laboratory,library washrooms all are well maintained.the canteen food is affordable and made with hygeine there is also a Nescafe ...ground are maintained well time to time trimming of longer grasses....overall it's well maintained

I am studying ba programme economics and psychology...teachers are soo helpful and yet understanding but some are not but that's what happens everywhere you can't get environment where each and everyone is nice

College placements are avg ccording to my knowledge.recent years, the highest package for economics students at Gargi College has been INR 23.05 LPA (2024). The average package was INR 5.25 LPA in 2024, and the median package was INR 4.5 LPA. In 2023, the highest package was INR 21.50 LPA, and the average package was INR 5.35 LPA.

My course per year is 18k which is affordable ig....it is value for money...but I think is like every other college you don't get skills to learn by those subject for that you have to rely on internships or programs

College life worst part is sometimes I feel I'm not giving my best due to some hard topics in my subject good part is everyone here is friendly ...teachers ,students ,staff all are supporting and ready to help

Any one who's getting admission here I would definitely recommend you this college .. here environment and opportunities are so good you'll feel you are right path towards career

The college infrastructure is good enough. All the basic and neccessafy facilities and amentities are availabke for the stude ts to use. Whether it is the large number of bioks in the library, or the various computers ready for use, students can make the utmost use of all the facilities. The large ground acts not only as useful for sports activities, but also for a good view and the classrooms are also good.

I am studying BCom. Honors. I am pursuing this course as I have an interest in accounting and finance. Yes, the curriculum is well up to date and includes all the recent developments in the ield. They also teach us additional skills like Tally to make us job ready.

My course is BCom Honors and it costs ruppees 18,000 per year Yes, I feel I am getting my money's worth from this college, as am getting the right education. The faculty is good. There are various amenities that are available for use and it's a good experience overall.

Campus life is great here. There are many societies, clubs and organizations that the students can be apsmrt of. Also, all of these keep on organizing various events now and then which makes the campus a very happening place. Everyone is very supportive, the students, teachers and support staff. It's location is also quite good and the campus is a safe and secure place.

College infrastructure is good, new buliding is open.It has a fully AC auditorium for seminars and annual function.Clean environment is provided with good food.Facilities of wifi,library,science labs.

Teachers are very good they motivate students to excel in careers. Have nice working staff and they teach in practical way they provide us report to analysis changes in curriculum and adapt to it Takes viva to make us ready for the next chapter

Highest placement is around 18 lakhs and average is around 7-8 lakhs . Process of providing jobs is average you need to have knowledge, skills , and communication ability but sometimes it gets challenging to get placement because of competition

It's quite a nice college for girls because it's a girls college you will be able to participate in various societies related to academic, cultural , sports. cost of course is not high it's very mid

You will enjoy your time in the campus it's in south Delhi, green and clean area with metro facility many roaming places are available but only problem is this is only girls college

Campus is bit small according to no. Of students but it's manageable now because of the opening of new buliding Ice tea is very known in the canteen but don't take coffee from there

It has almost all the necessities but the spaces aren’t usually clean. Computer labs can be improved. Repair that are necessary are not done. Facilities like WiFi and smart boards are not provided at all.

Teachers should take more initiative rather burdening with test and assignments at end of each semester. More practical knowledge should be incorporated in the curriculum that is of actual use. Insight into real world problems through curriculum could be an asset.

All the big four do visit the campus during the placement season along with other companies. The CTCs offered are also fine. Area where they can improve is mainly internships and providing some sort of preparation help for interviews that are actually useful.

Even though there are areas where the college lacks severely it is value for money because, the fees is almost negligible. Taking in consideration the CTCs the return is actually great in that matter. The fee would not exceed 70,000 for the entire course.

The college does have societies but college doesn’t show much support to there activities. It also have its own annual fest but they honestly couldn’t have a worse one. They even shut down societies .

If the criteria of a student is strictly academics ans placement after that the college can be still a good choice. It does offer a wide range of courses. But if a student wants ti factor in having a college life or a vibrant student life then it is not the place for them. The college needs improvement in several areas. The faculty is not cooperative some time. Having a student life is certainly not given importance here. Most events are downsized without concrete reasons.

The infrastructure is decent, all the projectors work perfectly but something needs to be done about the heat as it gets really hot in the summers. Recently a new block has been added in the campus as well.

The teachers are mostly sweet, and of helpful nature. Some are strict too but nevertheless have great knowledge about the subject they teach. Great faculty undoubtedly makes your college experience much much easier.

The Placement Cell is fairly active, you will receive internship opportunities on class groups here and there each week. Great companies come as well in the final year, and a good chunk of students do get placed.

This college is not in the main South Campus so that is definitely a major downside. No hangout spots nearby, just the main areas like GK, South Ex etc.
