NIELIT Exam 2025 (July Session) - Important Dates

Note: NIELIT application forms for examinations are different from registration forms. Dates for the NIELIT exams-related events will be announced through newspapers well in advance of the examinations, normally in the last week of February and August relevant to the July and January examinations, respectively.

Prerequisite for NIELIT Online Examination Application Form

Before filling out the NIELIT Online Examination Application Form (OEAF), the candidate has to update his profile. Check the prerequisites needed for the application form

• A valid Registration Number (Name & DOB exactly as in the Registration Allocation cum Identity Card issued by NIELIT)
• Personal email ID
• Personal Mobile Number
• Scanned the latest Passport size Photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm), Signature & LTI (Left Thumb Impression); all in .jpeg format, size limited to 50 KB each.

How to Apply for NIELIT Exams 2025?

Students can check the step-to-step guide to fill online examination application form before proceeding to avoid any inconvenience.

Step 1: Create Your Account

• Please click on the New User? (Registered Candidate) link provided in the top corner at the right hand side.
• Candidates need to fill the current course, registration number, name of the candidate, date of birth, and captcha code
• After submitting details, fill in the email ID and mobile number on the next page
• On the next page, enter a user ID and create a password.
• Select a security question and enter the security answer
• Once done, the User-ID and Password will be sent to the email address candidates have to activate their account by clicking on the link provided at the bottom of the mail

Note: It is mandatory to activate the account to log into the Online Student Information and Enrolment System of NIELIT.

Once the account is activated, click on the login page link on the NIELIT official website - student nielit gov in. After successful login, ‘My Dashboard’ will be open on the screen.

Step 2: Update Your Profile

On the My Dashboard, candidates need to complete all the steps as directed on the screen. Check the steps below involved in updating of student profile

• Upload Photograph, Signature and Left Thumb Impression
• After uploading, applicants need to complete the phone number verification using the OTP
• Update Details - Update the correspondence address details and personal details which include mother’s name, father’s name, and guardian’s name, and the sex of the candidate
• Lock the Profile - Once submitted all the required details, candidates need to lock their profile for NIELIT exams
• Applicants should lock their profile only after ensuring that the details they have entered is correct as no modifications are allowed after locking the profile
• Send Updated Profile Sheet - Candidates need to take the printout of the NIELIT application form from ‘My Dashboard’ and submit the same along with support documents to:

Step 3: Fill out the Online Examination Application Form (OEAF) for NIELIT Exams

Applicants need to complete the OEAF for NIELIT exams for the chosen course. Student NIELIT OEAF needs to be filled correctly to appear in the NIELIT exams. The OEAF includes five major points:

1. Exam Details
2. Exam Centre Details
3. Modules Appearing
4. Fee Details
5. Declaration

Step 4: NIELIT Exams Fee Payment: The application process for NIELTS exams will be completed after paying the application fee.

NIELIT Admit Card 2025

The NIELIT admit card was released in online mode on July 4, 2025 for Juy session exam for NIELIT O/A/B/C level exam. Applicants can download the NIELIT admit card with the required credentials. The NIELIT admit card contains essential information such as name, registration number, details of the examination centre along other details of the examination day.

NIELIT Certificate

Students who will successfully complete the NIELIT exams will be able to download the NIELIT certificate after the declaration of NIELIT result. The NIELIT certificate will add credibility to my skills.
