No TANCET and AUCET is not same,as AUCET will lead you to admission in MSC,MA,MCom and TANCET will lead you to M tech,MBA.

This year Anna University will  be conducting TANCET 2019.You can check the links uploaded in Anna University website.

You can apply for Anna University through TANCET for MBA. All you need to do is to submit the application. Take the exam and score well. The application is available online. 

The expected cut off for TANCET 2019 is 37.5

Well if you clear there cut off and if you hold a Valid BSc degree then I dont find any thing that would stop you from Admission. Then also I would suggest you to contact the B schools for further updates and information.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is conducted by Anna University for admission to M.E., M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Arch and M.Plan courses.

TANCET Application form is available from April 2 - April 25.

TANCET is scheduled for May 19 and May 20 in pen and paper mode.

there are scheduled to start by april 30 or in the first week of may tentatively.
