    Hello

MBA is an old version for those wishing to pursue management studies and it is treated as a well-known degree. The average salary of an MBA is 21 lakh per annum

Whereas, PGDM, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, is a two-year diploma the PGDM course is far more industry-relevant and practical as far as the job market is concerned. The average salary of a PGDM is Rs.12LPA.

    Hope this will help you.

    Hi aspirant,

Yes,you can try colleges conducting their own entrance examinations.

Some colleges will conduct their own exam like JAIN university Bangalore.

Some colleges in Bangalore will have the cut-off as 450 above (composite score) and you can try there.

    All the best!

Both courses have a similar course format.

The main difference is that an MBA is a degree that a university can award (like IITs, which provide many educational courses like management, engineering. law, etc.) As a post-graduate diploma in management, PGDM can be awarded by any college (such as IIMs, which only provide management education).

It makes no difference which degree you seek because both are equally important and will be considered equally by national and multinational corporations.
