Hi!!! As far as AMU hostels are concerned the rules are strict where you're allowed only one outing per week. If you wish to leave the hostel on any day other than Sunday, you need to take permission slip from the warden a day before and you need to send a fax to your parents who must fax you back with their permissions.

I hope it would be helpful for you.Thank you.

Hello,

Both are completely different. If you appear for WBJEE, you will get a rank based on your marks and that rank will be the deciding criteria based on which you will be allotted a college under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. Whereas Aligarh University directly intakes students based on their marks.

If you want an advice, I would suggest you appear for AMU because it is highly uncertain what college you would be allotted based on your marks that you would score in WBJEE. And studying in a low ranked college does not make any sense at all because there would be absolutely zero placements.

I hope this helps. All the best!

Hello Asmit,

On the basis of the prescribed syllabus for the entrance exam it is advisable to keep in touch with following books:

  • Objective General English by R.S. Agarwal.
  • General Knowledge by Arihant Publications.
  • Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive exams by R.S. Agarwal.
  • Analytical Reasoning by M.K. Pandey.

Opinions may vary and people may suggest you other books and you are free to follow them, most of the books are not bad. You are not bound to follow the books stated above, they are just some examples, just keep in mind to go through one book completly, switching books always creates a hindrance. Pick one and stick to it.

All the best.

Hyy Arkam

Hello sir!! To get admission in B.A.LL.B you can search for best law colleges. The best way to get admission in good law college is to take the CLAT exam or similar state or national level exam for entrance in law colleges.

AMUEEE is the exam conducted by university for admission in B.tech and B.arch. I hope you are talking about B.tech.

First of all , you should understand the exam pattern. Then refer to official site for sylllabus.

After doing this, make a study plan for the your preparations. Now decide the areas where you need  to work and areas that will fetch you good score. Now the next thing is the study material, get the study material form the internet and refer some good books, plenty books are available in the market. Prepare your time table and stick to it. Try solving previous years papers in the prescribed time, that will help you manage time in exam.

As far as paper is concerned, it will be objective paper having 150 marks and the duration will be 180 minutes.  The plus point is that, there will be no negative marking. Read the question paper first , don't waste much time. Try to attempt those questions only for which you the answer. Manage your time in such a way that you are to able complete before 15 minutes. In the last 15 minutes attempt those remaining questions also which you don't know. May be they will fetch you some marks and that will the bonus.
