I will take admission in AMU in sometimes. I want to know that being living in hostel, for how much time i will be allowed to step out ?

Hi!!! As far as AMU hostels are concerned the rules are strict where you're allowed only one outing per week. If you wish to leave the hostel on any day other than Sunday,you need to take permission slip from the warden a day before and you need to send a fax to your parents who must fax you back with their permissions.

What if i wanted to take coaching which is out of the institute?

Hi Fareena.As far as I am concerned you'll not be allowed if you stay in hostel,You have three options to go for : You can keep your tuitions on sunday only or opt for outside PG or you can request the hostel authorities for the same.Thank you.
