Hey there
The minimum marks required for general category students are 60% for IISER to the BS -MS & BS programmes. However for reserved categories scheduled caste scheduled tribe and physically handicapped the minimum marks required are 55% in aggregate.
Hi
Once the correction window is closed they don't allow any changes so you will have to stick with whatever you have filled in right now. Moreover all IISERs are equally good. You can try your luck in counselling though.
All the best!
Hello Aspirant
You have got 87 marks out of total 180 marks in iiser aptitude test that is a national level entrance test for the taken for the admission in different iser campus for a five years integrated course of BS- MS course.
Hindi small 87 you there is a great chance for to get a campus in the 6th round of counselling. It may not be in Kolkata but out of the 7 campuses of IISER, any of the campuses that is Pune, Kolkata, Mohali, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Berhampur as your belongs to general EWS category student.

Hi
If that's the response you got from them then unfortunately you cannot do anything about it now. They have the final say on this. You have got to do with whatever they allot you. You can try during counselling by using float option but anyhow all IISERs are equally good.
Hope this helps!
Hello Sara !
As you know, there is no official release of cutoff marks or rank by the IISERs. But a generalised prediction is done on the basis of the analysis of answer keys by the candidates every year.
Also, this year the board cutoff is relaxed upto 60% and the category reservation for Gen EWS section is introduced. And the seat intake from the SCB channel has been expanded upto 75%.
The general view is that 90+ in the IAT will fetch you your 1st or 2nd preference in first round itself. So, it is expected with 80 marks, you can expect your 3rd or 4th preference in 2nd or 3rd rounds of allotment (i.e the most probable IISERs being Tirupati, Berhampur, Bhopal and Thiruvananthapuram)
I would suggest you to be patient till the last rounds of allotment. Keep checking your mails and be confident.

Candidate of general category should have a secured rank under 10,000 in JEE ADVANCE in the CRL list .
I would suggest you to go through the college website once to get a detailed information regarding the admission process in Indian institute of science education and research .
I hope my answer helps
Wish you all the very best!
Dear Aspirant,
IISER does not release their cutoff at all so it is nearly impossible to predict the cutoffs for the universities. All you can do is just give your best during the examination. You need to be a KVPY scholar to get admission in IISER through KVPY channel. You need to have JEE Advanced rank below 10000 to apply for IISERs through JEE Advanced channel. And there is no definite cutoff for SCB channel. They just release the list of candidates who qualified.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!
Dear Student,
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) is going to conduct IISER aptitude test on September 17, 2021. The authorities invite admissions in 5-year BS-MS degree courses through three channels namely JEE Advanced, KVPY, and SCB. The student who wants to apply through the SCB channel needs to appear in the IISER aptitude test 2021. Candidates applying for JEE Advanced or KVPY channel are provided direct admissions. The IISER aptitude test 2021, a computer-based test (CBT), 3-hour multiple-choice paper having 60 questions will be conducted in online mode. Separate application processes will be done for all three different modes of admission. There are seven participating institutes taking admission through IISER.
