Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali also known as IISER Mohali is government funded research Institute. It is one of the prestigious institution in India with NIRF Ranking of 40 in 2021.  In order to get admission in IISER there are three streams namely KVPY, JEE Advanced and State & Central Board (IISER Aptitude Test). One must separately apply for IISER . Following are the cut-off for OBC-NCL through SCB Channel.

IAT - BS Program - 6592

IAT - Integrated BS-MS Program-  6336

Since you haven't specified your category and the total rank, it is difficult to find out about your chances in IISER. If you are general category, you have to score a rank below 10000 to get into any IISER. For IISER Pune, you have to score around 6000.

But if you are OBCNC, SC, ST or PD , then your category rank should be within 10000, to join IISER. This is as per previous year statistics.

Taking into account the current vulnerabilities in the board assessments it has been concluded that the qualification basis for admission to IISERs this year will remain at 60% imprints in total or identical grade for GEN/OBC/OBC-NCL and 55% imprints in total or comparable grade for SC/ST/PWD in class XII or identical assessment for competitors of science stream from every qualified board. Understudies whose load up assessment results are not accessible at the hour of the IAT will be permitted to show up in the assessment. Their admission to an IISER, whenever chose, will be dependent upon their achieving the above qualification measure.

Since IISER does not declare their cutoffs, it is difficult to tell whether or not you get admission. However according to students personal experiences and the generalized question paper cutoff of about 110/180 marks is required to get into IISER. You may not be able to get into any. Note this is just an assumption though.

Based on your Rank and the reservation you possess, you have chances to get into IISER. I can make an easy conclusion if you mention your marks instead of rank. For JEE Advanced the cutoff was:

Overall IISER final cutoff for BS-MS Program is>>>>803 and

Intgrated BS-Ms is>>>>901 (For ST reservation)

You can also enter into IISER through other different methods they are:

• KVPY
• SCB

Student applying through SCB Channel needs to appear for IISER Aptitude test.

You can appy for IISER in your final year of graduation but you need to meet few  requirements.

The eligibility for  Master's in physics  from IISER should be,

-a minimum of 60% in your graduation

-should have appeared for IIT JAM  and his or her rank should be under 500 .

Yes . Foreign candidates can apply only through the JEE-Advanced channel. The top 15000 rank holders (including the foreigners) in the CRL of IIT JEE (Advanced) are eligible to apply for admission to BS/BS-MS program of IISERs.

IISER 2021 Seat Allotment is starting from 18th October 2021 (KVPY) & on 25th October 2021 (SCB). Hall Ticket has been released . Exam Date has been released . The examination has been held on 17th September 2021. Syllabus has been released. Admission will be done through three channels SCB, KVPY, and on the basis of JEE Advanced exam. It is a national level test which will be organized by the Indian Institutes of Science Education & research (IISER). Through IISER SCB Aptitude test , admission will be offered in 5 year dual degree programme of BS-MS. SCB will be the only stream through which candidates will get admission on the basis of entrance test. Candidates will be offered admission into seven IISER institutions situated in Tirupati, Mohali, Bhopal, Berhampur, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, and Pune. IISER 2021 Result will be declared in October 2021 for SCB, KVPY & JEE channels. IISER (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research) offers education in the field of science and research. It organizes an aptitude test for providing admission into 5 year dual degree BS-MS programme.
