I have a valid KVPY fellowship of SA-E (rank-95)which commences this year but I got 78.2% in cbse board (SC category) Can I get IISER.

Question

If I have a valid score in JEE Advanced but doesnt have a KVPY fellowship, can I apply for admission in BS-MS dual degree at IISER Pune?

So, if you've qualified for KVPY, whether you're in SX, SA, or SB, you're in luck. When it comes to your undergraduate and graduate education, you will be eligible for scholarships if you majored in pure science in both your undergraduate and graduate studies. Your percentage should be greater than 75% and you have it so no worries. If you are selected for the kvpy fellowship, you will almost likely be awarded one as well. The KVPY Fellowship is designed for students who are enrolled in a research-oriented programme at a university or college level in Korea. The IISER and IISc are mainly designed for students who want to pursue a career in the scientific or technological field.

Dear student,

IISER admission is strictly based on the cutoff mentioned by the admission commitee of IISER. Since the CBSE class 12 cutoff for SC category for admission through KVPY channel is 80.2% for this year, i regret thay you can not take admission in IISER.
Although, you have another option of admission in IISER if you want to study engineering. If you appear in JEE Advanced 2019 and secure AIR within 10,000, you can take admission in IISER where the class 12 percentage requirement if 65% for SC category.
