University of Allahabad is a great institution for education and development of any student. It has all the infrastructure that are necessary and important. The facilities are very supportive and engaging. Library has every book that can be of very great help in studying.
Academics are great in this institution. This institution has been one of the leading and coming-of-age in academics in the history. The institution still holds that reputation. Discipline and hardwork can make any student shine bright in this institution.
Placements for Undergraduate student is available here. Many big companies visit and plave students from this institution such as Infosys Federal Bank etc. The faculties are also very kind and supportive to students in encouraging them.
This experience of reviewing our intuition is great.
My experience about my college was good. The faculties are well educated and very helpful. Also there are smart classes in my college which was very helpful for us. With the help of smart classes we learnt more things.
In my college teachers and faculty was awesome, well educated and also very helpful. Library of my college was so good where we study silently and peacefully here many type of books are available which help in learnt new things.
Here placement was quite though. But the college was very good. To take place in this college we need approximate 90 percentage . And the placement are also very easy from here many universities are taken students from the college
Infrastructure at university is adequate..proper classrooms and libraries are available with little maintanence required , physical infrastructure including teachers and staffs are quite good ,outdoor natural space without disturbance..a bit improvement in digital infrastructure is much needed..
Have done bcom from University. University is providing good quality of education... teacher are always ready as a helping hand ..recent developments in science department..sports department and new building where big programmes could be held is been provided..
As far as I know .... placement from University is good ..last year many seniors have got placement at good prestigious organization....last year company like Deloitte and federal Bank came and many students got placed there....hoping for many more placement to come
Best education with minimum fees .
A healthy and safe environment at university... I thankful I got few best batchmate and helping teachers..
Overall College structure is good.but commerce department is very small.there are lots of tree that provide fresh air and shadows in summer.classroom are big in size but fans and wifi are not working too good
Teachers are good but some teacher are too rude they give a lot of assignment and less time to complete..there is too exam I hate that but some teacher are very polite and respectful.they help us a lot
I don't know too much about placement because I am preparing something else .but other student say that placement is good and they liked it they provide a lot of facilities to student and help them to get placement
Overall it's good I will recommend everyone to take admission because everything thing has two side..we can't judge only one the basis of bad side
College infrastructure structure is not very good, the classes are big but lots of things like wifi and fan are not working properly, the rooms are not very clean too..and the commerce campus of our university is also very small...
Some teachers are really good some are just average but overall quality of teaching is good some teacher's are very helpful they always try there best that everyone students can understand each topic...
I have not much idea about placement because I am pursuing something else.. But in this college package is not very much high and not very companies come here for the placement.. But teachers and faculty always try that every students gets a placement.
The allahabad university is a central government college so the fees is not very high it's very decent according to the fees the teachers are really great and it's worth the money.. Every students whether there financial condition are good or not they can study here..
The teachers are decent and supportive the students and senior are also very helpful .. If any student feel any problem they can easily discuss with the teachers.. The location is safe and they have the proper equipment to handle the emergencies.
The overall college is really great..
for god'sake I have seen other universities but trust me this university has the best infra. A very good location to shoot for Instagram pictures and get old school vibe. Britishers have done it well.
it is best here for the money you pay as fees. actually nice academics but I guess the rating system is not good because teachers deduct marks too much and student generally do not get good percentages.
new improvements are going to be done in this university as I have seen. we have been promised that few new companies will come this year for on campus hiring and on time before the commencement of new session.
what I have felt that you can never do anything other than masters of commerce like other exam preparation because the schedule is very busy.
it is decent but not top tier. it still lacks modern technology..It gets works done ,but not just in style. B.com infra is kinda mid and average - classrooms are old like style basic , not much technology going on.
Au is best for those students who are self motivated and self driven. Textbooks are available at the libarary so definitely no need to buy new bolks from the market. question paper is usually and everytime just old paper.
They take easy paper and offer a mid and average course you can not never expect a very high placement from this university. actually this big issue for me specially those who are not financially well.
Everything is good in university Facilities is also good Classrooms are also good Well maintained classes Equipments used are nice Spaces are clean and hygienic products used. Laboratories hostels are good
I'm studying bcom because I am from commerce background Teachers are good and they teach properly Yes curriculum is updated and and recent developments is done Knowledge of accounts made me job ready
Placement is done at good quality 30 % of the students have been placed Salary expected 30k or above per month Course mba Average salary offered is 40k Yes the process is easy Yes college is supportive all members support each other
The colllege infrastructure is top-notch, with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a beatiful campus! Great facilitis are availlable but outdated classrooms also green surroundings and comfortable study space
Decent academic, but focus on theory over practical skills. more industry-relevant courses would be helpful. fuculty support is greate and strong academic with experienced facilty, well-structured courses
Excellent placement support with top recuruiters, greate package, and skill-building programs. needs better diversity. overall is good but placement rate is average but they provide good internships. .
really good college and very big area and green garden. all things are really good
My B.Sc. journey at Allahabad University was simple yet impactful. The campus has a historic feel, and though facilities are basic, the academic foundation is solid. Faculty support varies, but I learned a lot through self-study and peer interaction. The diverse student crowd and occasional cultural events made the experience memorable. Overall, a good place for focused learners.

Pursuing a B.Sc. at Allahabad University was a journey filled with learning, challenges, and personal growth. The university, known for its rich heritage, offers a traditional academic environment with a peaceful campus that supports focused study. Although the infrastructure is not modern, the classrooms, library, and laboratories provided the essentials needed for a solid academic foundation. The faculty was a mix—some were very knowledgeable and engaging, while others followed a more conventional teaching style. However, with the right effort and self-discipline, it was possible to gain deep subject knowledge. Peer discussions and group studies played a big role in learning, especially in practical subjects. One of the highlights was the diversity of students. Interacting with people from different backgrounds helped broaden my perspective and develop strong communication skills. While campus life wasn't very vibrant on a daily basis, occasional cultural events, fests, and student activities brought a lot of energy and fun. Overall, my time at Allahabad University was enriching. It taught me not just academics but also patience, independence, and adaptability. It may not offer modern amenities, but for a student who is serious about learning, it provides a meaningful and valuable experience.
The University of Allahabad is one of India’s oldest universities, established in 1887, and is recognized for its strong academic foundation, especially in fields like Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, and Social Sciences. It is a central university, meaning it is funded by the government, ensuring high academic standards.
Strengths:
1. Reputation: It has a rich academic history and offers quality education, particularly in humanities and social sciences.
2. Variety of Courses: The university offers diverse programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and research levels.
3. Location: Located in Allahabad, which is historically significant, it offers students access to the city’s cultural heritage.
4. Research: Strong emphasis on research and collaboration in various fields.
Challenges:
1. Infrastructure: The infrastructure, especially in comparison to newer universities or private institutions, could use improvement.
2. Placements: While it has decent academics, the placement opportunities in some programs may not be as strong as other top institutions like IITs or private universities.
Conclusion:
The University of Allahabad is an excellent choice for those seeking quality education in a traditional academic setting, particularly in subjects like humanities. However, if your primary focus is industry placement or state-of-the-art infrastructure, you might want to consider other options
