Acharya Chanakya Shiksha Pratisthan College, Jaipur Rajasthan was established in the year 2006 So this institute has been preparing youth for the future. Located at National Highway 8 at Pathrevi Mor, Raghunathpura, Kotputli, this affiliated college has made a good name in the field of education. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and it is co –educational to its nature and welcomes students of all gender. The college has an enrolment of 391 students and 27 faculties hence we still have a comparatively good size of students that enable us to have a good size of students to teacher ratio which is an indicator of quality education.

Acharya Chanakya Shiksha Pratisthan College has facilities that are useful in improving the standards of learning for the college students. Preparatory to that, libraries should be well stocked with all forms of learning resources to enhance student’s learning process. The college also has departmental laboratories which are important for the practical and logical demonstrations of the theoretical knowledge. The institution however, appreciates the use of technology in learning and has put up exemplary IT facilities in the present technological era. Those students who wish to continue their classes but also to exercise, the college offers sporting amenities. A campus auditorium is used for various activities and seminars making campus life very active. Also, the college focuses on student’s health through having a medical center with necessary entailing first aid facilities for the college’s community.

Acharya Chanakya Shiksha Pratisthan College is only offering one main course at the present time – the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This is a two-year full time course with an approved student capacity of two hundred students as a result of the college’s emphasis on teacher training. The BEd programme is aimed at development of adequate knowledge and competencies essential for effective teaching practice for prospective teachers. Though the college operates only this one degree, this proves its interest in providing high quality training for teachers.

In Acharya Chanakya Shiksha Pratisthan College the admission procedure is clear and steps are taken to ensure to all the interested candidates. In case of B.Ed programme, admission is given on the basis of the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) conducted by an examination conducting agency nominated by the Government of Rajasthan with the concurrence of the State Council of Educational Research & Training. This process helps support the various procedure of admissions in conformity with existing certified rules and regulations provided by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
