About Bharat Institute of Nursing Training, Jalandhar

Situated at Jalandhar, Punjab, the Bharat Institute of Nursing Training was founded in the year 2005. This affiliated college is located at V.P.O Mudh, Tehsil Nakodar and occupies a 4-acre of land. The institute is affiliated to the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and provides various nurses courses for female students only. The institute has a total population of 193 students for total faculty of 33; thus; the institute records comparatively acceptable student to faculty ratio for efficient teaching and learning.

Bharat Institute of Nursing Training has a display of several facilities fashionable to support the learning styles of the learners. A newly developed girl’s hostel gives them proper accommodation and amenities including mess, recreational section as well as highly fortified security system. The compound includes open space with attractive grass lawns at various sections, in line with learning environment. These are the B.Sc Nursing with 50 student intake for four years, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with 20 students for two years, ANM, Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery with 20 intake for two years, GNM General Nursing and Midwifery for four years with 60 students. For nursing the institute has however split 150 seats across the two programmes illustrating its determination in producing competent health care personnel.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This two-year programme has an intake of 20 students. It is designed for registered nurses who wish to upgrade their qualifications. Applicants must have completed their GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course and possess a valid nursing registration certificate.

Bharat Institute of Nursing Training GNM Admission Process
