Institute of Tool Engineering, Dindigul (ITE Dindigul) is an independent technical Institute under the government of Tamilnadu having its inception in 1962. One of the oldest government institutions, it was established in 1957 at Dindigul, Tamil Nadu and is for the future of engineering. Located on 2-acre Campus, ITE Dindigul is acknowledged by AICTE and offers the field of tool engineering. As at now, the institute has 146 students and a faculty complement of 1, which makes ratio students-to-faculty very flexible for enhancing learning especially for engineering students.

Further, ITE Dindigul has developed the following infrastructures in order to facilitate the education process of its learners. There is also an auditorium for all round functions and events including seminar where knowledge and skills can be imparted. An academic library fully equipped makes a learning institution’s a one stop centre for information to enable students get through with their courses. The institute boasts of having departmental laboratories which provides a practical nature necessary for engineering education.
