Degree wise Admission Process

MBBS: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is the flagship  MBBS program of KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research, Coimbatore. Admission to MBBS is purely based on the score obtained by the candidate in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). The institute has 150 sanctioned seats in MBBS.

Eligibility criteria for admission in MBBS:

1. Candidates should have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as major subjects.
2. Minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology for candidates belonging to General Category, whereas for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate is 40%.
3. A person must complete seventeen years of age as of December 31st of that year while applying for admission.
4. All candidates should qualify for the NEET-UG with a valid score.
