Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research Kolkata admission are offered to medical courses such as MBBS, MD, MS, PGD, DM and others. IPGMER Kolkata admission is entrance-based. IPGMER Kolkata UG Admission Process 

• After submitting the application form, candidates must apply for NEET UG registration.

• Candidates must appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by NTA and obtain a valid score.

• After the results, an all-India merit list of the qualified candidates shall be prepared and published based on NEET UG scores.

• Candidates who meet the IPGMER NEET UG cutoff should apply for the counselling conducted by the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee. During counselling, Candidates must choose the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research, Kolkata as their preference.

• Once the seats are allotted to the candidates, they must complete the document verification process and pay the fee to confirm admission.

• Candidates must apply for NEET PG registration and take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), conducted by NBEMS.

• After the results, an all-India merit list of the qualified candidates is prepared and published.

• Candidates who clear the required cutoff for the NEET PG exam should apply for online counselling.

• During the choice filling and locking, candidates must choose IPGMER Kolkata as their preference. Then, results are declared and allotment letters are given to candidates.

• Selected candidates must complete the document verification process and pay the fee to confirm admission.

The DM and M.Ch courses in PGI Kolkata are offered in disciplines like Plastic Surgery, Nephrology, Urology, Neurosurgery, Head and Neck Surgery, Cardiology and others.

• Candidates after meeting the eligibility criteria should take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET SS).

• After the results, an all-India merit list of the qualified candidates is prepared and published based on the scores of NEET SS.

• Candidates should apply for counselling once they qualify for NEET SS. During counselling, Candidates must choose the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research as their preference. 

• Those candidates who meet the IPGMER cutoff based on NEET SS scores are selected for further process.
