Candidates are required to register at the portal of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. After registration, candidates can use the following portal (jipmer.edu.in/user/login) for JIPMER student login. After logging in, candidates can see the application form, pending fees, results and other academic details.

• After qualifying for the entrance test, a merit list will be prepared based on the entrance test scores.

JIPMER Admission Process for MS/MDS/MD Courses

• Candidates are required to register for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET).

• After paying the application fee of Rs 4,000 (Rs 3,200 for SC/ST/EWS), candidates should take the INI CET and secure a valid score.

• Qualified candidates must participate in the seat allocation process.

• Candidates will be shortlisted for JIPMER admission based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination.

JIPMER PhD Admission Process 2026

• Candidates should fill out the JIPMER PhD application form available on the official website.

• The selection for the PhD course is based on the written test and viva-voice examination. Candidates who score more than 50% on the entrance test will qualify for the viva-voice examination. 

• A merit list is generated for the qualified candidates, and they must get their documents verified.

JIPMER Puducherry DM admissions are offered for courses in three specialisations. The DM courses at JIPMER Puducherry include DM Neurology, DM Neuroimaging and Intervention and DM Neuroanaesthesia.
