Infra was just okay okay as in summers it's difficult to study as we have no ac on our classes not a big Library we have cafeteria was open too so in summer it is not comfortable to eat because of sunlight and very hot weather
Not that very nice academic we have as we have not much classes and faculties were not serious about teaching also in 2 days they used to finish one unit which is not possible at all in real sense toh academic wise I don't like it
Placement was nice as we got many companies placement was good in DU as we have opportunities in college so it's good we also have opportunities in internship as well so it's very nice to have good placement in less fees
The infrastrusture of the college is well maintained. We have good classrooms with projectors. Apart from it, We have Library and sports facilities too. Societies are also there for extra curricular activities.
Our course is well defined by the University of Delhi,It got updated with the guidelines of Central. The professors are experts in their field. They taught the class with illustrations and practical approach which is too good.
The college has placements for all students but the ctc is not good. Its average placement is upto 5 lakh which is not good to take so students either go for more studies or go for central placements of University.
Need to add more classroom Sure! Here’s a 200-word bad review of a college’s infrastructure: --- The infrastructure of this college is deeply disappointing and far below the standards expected of a reputable educational institution. The buildings are old, poorly maintained, and often dirty. Classrooms are cramped, with broken chairs, damaged desks, and outdated technology that rarely functions properly. The laboratories lack essential equipment, making it nearly impossible for students to gain practical experience. The library is understocked, with very few updated books or journals, and there is hardly any space to study quietly. Basic amenities like clean drinking water, functional restrooms, and proper ventilation are often neglected. Wi-Fi connectivity is weak and unreliable, disrupting students' academic work. The hostels are overcrowded, unhygienic, and in dire need of repairs. Recreational and sports facilities are almost non-existent, despite being advertised in the college brochure. Safety measures, including proper lighting and security, are poorly implemented, leaving students feeling insecure, especially during
Here’s an average review (around 200 words) for academics in a college: --- The academics at this college are decent but leave room for improvement. The curriculum is fairly structured and covers most of the essential topics required for the courses. Some professors are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, but there is a lack of consistency in teaching quality across different departments. While a few faculty members are approachable and willing to help, others seem disinterested and less engaging during lectures. The college does conduct regular classes and maintains a reasonable academic schedule, but sometimes syllabus completion feels rushed, especially close to exams. Practical exposure is provided in some courses, but many programs are still heavily theory-based, which can limit real-world understanding. Assignments and internal assessments are managed fairly but can sometimes feel repetitive and not very challenging. Research opportunities exist but are not actively promoted among students. Workshops, seminars, and guest lectures happen occasionally,
Every year replacement cell bring companies for placement Here’s a bad review (around 200 words) for college placements: --- The placement scenario at this college is extremely disappointing and does not match the promises made during admission. Very few reputed companies visit the campus, and most of them offer low-paying roles that are not aligned with the students' fields of study. The placement cell is poorly organized and lacks proper coordination and support for students. There is hardly any meaningful training provided for interviews, group discussions, or aptitude tests, leaving many students unprepared for recruitment drives. Even during the placement season, there are long gaps between company visits, and students are often left waiting without any clear communication from the placement office. Internships are also difficult to secure through college channels, forcing students to find opportunities on their own. Many students end up either with no job offers or have to settle for roles that have little career growth or relevance to their degrees. The college advertises high placement statistics, but the reality is that only a
I don't think the amount i paid to the college they have ever gave me a good facility
Very boring
Nope that's it
The college has modern classrooms (with e- boards), a well-stocked library and free access to online journals and research tools. The campus is clean, the food of the canteen is decent and affordable, there's wifi connectivity all over the campus. There are enough labs for all sort of researchers, the sport centres are well equipped. Though the college doesn't provide hostel facility yet.
I'm currently pursuing BA (Hons) Political Science at Ramanujan College, Delhi University. The faculty here is highly qualified, supportive, and updated with current academic trends. Most professors use a mix of lectures, presentations, and discussions which makes the subject engaging. Though, there a few extra papers of VAC, SEC & AEC which one may not find helpful at all but very tiring. The degree I am persuing isn't very helpful in getting direct jobs, it's more beneficial for further studies and for competitive exams like civil services etc.
The college has an active Placement Cell that regularly organizes career guidance workshops, resume-building sessions, and internship fairs in collaboration with NGOs, think tanks, and private firms. In the 2024 placement season, over 250 companies participated, offering more than 300 job profiles to students. The highest package reached ₹12 LPA, while the average package stood at ₹5.13 LPA. Approximately 45% of students secured placements, with many others opting for higher studies. The highest package was extended to students from professional courses such as B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science, or B.Voc programs. These courses are known to attract significant attention from major recruiters, and students from these streams often secure higher salary packages. While placements for humanities students are limited compared to commerce or management courses, the college offers internship support through its placement cell. Some students land roles in NGOs, research firms, or policy internships. For Political Science, it’s more about preparing for UPSC, NET, or higher studies.
My course at Ramanujan College costs approximately ₹17,000 per annum, which is quite affordable compared to private institutions. The faculty is experienced, and the syllabus is comprehensive, with access to useful resources like the library and online databases. The course also provides opportunities for extra-curricular involvement and networking, enhancing personal and professional growth. In terms of academic and personal development, I feel the course is worth the fees paid.
Ramanujan College in Kalkaji, New Delhi, offers a vibrant campus life with modern infrastructure, spacious classrooms, a good library and a great canteen. The college is known for its excellent sports facilities, active student societies, and cultural events, though the increasing student population sometimes leads to congestion and there is a need for hostel facilities. Students engage in a variety of activities, from academic events to drama and sports, while the faculty is supportive and approachable. The campus is in a safe, easily accessible area, with good security measures and basic emergency services, though serious emergencies may require external assistance. Overall, it provides a balanced environment for academic and personal growth.
Ramanujan College, Delhi University offers a Modern campus with some smart classrooms, mostly well equipped labs, digitally equipped library, average sports facilities, and eco- friendly initiatives.
Ramanujan College, Delhi University excels in academics with experienced faculty, innovative teaching methods, diverse courses, research opportunities, and a strong focus on holistic student development.
Easy to find, highly accessible, due to the Placement Cell’s active involvement and frequent updates on available internships which are sent out throughout the year for students from all academic backgrounds
Yes
Lacks sense of belonging
Our college is one of the most top notch colleges in Delhi and the infrastructure of our college is pretty good to come frequently and to spent our whole day. We have a large play ground and a basket ball court as well.
I am persuing BA from this college and I attend all the classes frequently because of the quality of the teaching and professors. They are very supportive and always help us to clear our doubts and concerns
I really have no idea about the placements since I am not a regular student. Hence I have to place my self by myself. The placement system seems fine as per everyone's experience. Not bad at all however it totally depends on one's capability or dedication for it.
As per all the facilities our college is providing to every student is totally worth joining this college. This is not much expensive as compared to others. What really matters is the education and study system which is totally fine.
I would rate our campus life 8 out of 10. All the facilities they have provided is pretty enough to call it a college, We can play football, volleyball, basketball and etc like sports. All we lacking is a swimming pool
I have only one request from the staff that please add a swimming pool and gym inside our college
Ramanujan college infrastructure is nice well maintained because they are building new blocks and adding more classrooms to provide better facilities for students The class rooms are in good condition that we can study properly and they have almost equipments to provide us . The classrooms are clean and the entire campus
I'm studying BA psychology in Ramanujan because it's quite impressive to know about human behaviour the knowledge about someone's behaviour changing and you have the ability to change their perspective from wrong to right and communicate with them The teachers are attentive that's the best thing ever In this field there's a lots of scope from medical to establishing own business
Ramanujan college affiliated with the university of delhi has demonstrated a better placement record in recent years 283 students were placed the highest salary package is 21.50 LPA with an average package of 5.14LPA
10,000 per year for the course I'm pursuing right now it is worth it for me from books to examination and teaching fees it is
The campus experience is overall nice and engaging and it will lead to more experiences of student engagement and will lead to more exposure for students and make most of it for building and campus in delhi.
The curriculum is really theoretical and needs some practical aspects and makes the students only makes academic knowledge and aspirations of most of knowledge and faculties are also created by nice behaviour.
The placement cell of the college is not updated since last year and needs most of the development and takes most of the students community, it should be updated in more of campus and make students aware of all awareness program.
Good
Nice infrastructure and relations with facility are also very nice nad and university of delhi also relates with such policies and will lead to more than efficient infrastructure in campus and will lead good.
Curriculum is also very nice and development and sustainable process is taken by students and will take more and more power to more than enough to everyone in campus and some practical should be included.
The cell is also included in very much activity and needs more and more active members and will also lead to industry standards ready and make most of money from the connection of university of delhi.
Gud
The infrastructure of the campus is not as per the standards of the University of Delhi but it needs to be improved in certain areas which the administration and the union students should focus on which will overall improve the facility.
Curriculum is nice of the college but it lacs in certain aspects which needs to be improved as it completely revolves around assignments and theoretical part practical aspect as media in the overall aspect.
Placement cell of the college is active little bit but it needs to be improved in certain areas the internship and placement fair should be organised on a large scale and cater the needs of the large number of students in a positive way.
