the infrastructure of the college is decent and is continuously improving but changes in class seats would be the cherry on the cake apart from that an auditorium would be a great addition as it will allow student for better practice place.
bad in terms of academics every semester I used to get only one good teacher who was serious about their subject and took classes regularly other colleges are worried about student attendance Shyam Lal Evening should worry about teacher attendance and the knowledge of the teachers are also not that great
During my time when I was in college one-half day was given regarding student placement 5 companies visited and I don't think they took anyone it feels disheartening when you hear that all other college students are getting placed and in your colleges, no companies are coming

the library is good and at exam times they will provide you some extra hours to spend, so you can study more on exam days, classrooms are good but not with as you will find ac in labs for sure but expect it in the classroom
The faculties are well trained and have a lot of experience. Most of the faculties had completed phds and masters in their respective subjects. There are two semester exams held in one academic year and these exams are somewhat easier to pass.
Placements are up to 75% but who got job in placement never turn their head backwards The students who are Mostly talented can only be getting job in placements students must do smart work as well as including hard work..
I am very happy to pursue Bachelor of Commerce in Shyam Lal College. This course perfectly matches with my requirement and that is the reason I chose this course. The faculty here is among the best compared to all the DU Colleges. Internships are mandatory for 6th semester students

There were no placements for B.A. English course in our college. Although, they were good for commerce students. There was no internship offered, but there was an exchange programme offered for 1 month in Finland. The process for selection was not good, as the whole class didn't get aware about it and the decision was made internal.

There was no placement opportunity for us at my time. In my batch there were 100 Students who are divided in 2 sections but unfortunately there was no placement process in shyam lal college for english hons. Students
I paid 6000/-per annum and some 600-700for examinations fees.. And because of the college environment, teachers and students I never felt that I paid a huge amount to college , instead it was the money worth college.
I did my graduation in 2016 and during the 3 years our college was under construction but when I went for my degree it was totally changed and new. Canteen was not so good but teachers and staff are all supportive. Location was safe as well.
