University Institute of Technology Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Shahdol (UIT RGPV Shahdol) is one of the constituent college started in the year 2015. Khandwa Road Bhopal is located in Chhatwayi village Sohagpur Tehsil, Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh and is spread over 247 acres of land. This university is recognised from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) so the students seek quality technical education here. There are two B.Tech programmes in which a total of 120 seats are available are Mechanical Engineering and Mining Engineering. Hence, with a focus on delivering technical education, UIT RGPV Shahdol is preparing the next generation of professionals to cater to the industry requirement.

University Institute of Technology Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya has developed a number of learning resources that are intended to support its learners. The college has full-time programmes that are offered in two specialisations and the course tenure is of four years each. The total capacity of the students intake in the institute is 120 and in Mechanical and Mining both streams total seats are 60 each. These programmes are aimed at equipping the students with the right knowledge that will prepare them for fitting careers in the ever growing technological environment. 

UIT RGPV Shahdol conducts admission in a fair and transparent manner by the following criteria with an intention of providing engineering degree to deserving candidates. National or state levels entrance tests are taken into consideration coupled with the percentage obtained in standard 10+2 or equivalent examination.
