The application form for SWAYAM exam registration 2026 other than online mode would not be accepted. Candidates are advised to submit only one application. More than one application i.e., multiple application forms submitted by the candidate will be rejected. Candidates also must use the same email ID throughout the course duration, for enrolling in course(s) and registering for NTA SWAYAM exam January 2026 semester.

To apply for the NTA SWAYAM exam registration 2026, candidates have to visit exams.nta.nic.in/swayam, register to create a new account, and fill out the application form with personal and course details.

Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab for the SWAYAM January 2026 semester
Read all the instructions carefully and click on proceed button
Fill out the required details to create an account, and generate a user ID and password.
Login with registered credentials to complete the application form; fill in personal details, contact information, educational qualifications, and select your courses.
Select your preferred exam center cities as per your convenience
Upload scanned images of the required documents - photograph and signature.
Pay the required examination fee using online payment methods (credit card/debit card/net banking/UPI).
Submit the final application form and download or print the confirmation page for future reference
Candidates must select the Exam Date followed by course name, the exam centre by first selecting the State and then the city within the State. They can give four choices for their exam centres. (Giving four choices is mandatory)
Note: If the candidates are providing the APAAR ID in the application, they must ensure that the Name, Date of Birth, and Gender entered in the form are consistent with the details available in the APAAR system. In case of any mismatch, SWAYAM will not be able to transfer the credits to the ABC system.

To complete the SWAYAM exam registration 2026, candidates are required to upload the following documents:
Scanned Images (Clearly legible) of Candidate’s Photograph, Signature and Documents (as applicable).
The recent passport size photograph should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background. The photograph should be JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible) between 10 kb to 200 kb.
Signature file JPG/JPEG format between 10 kb to 50 kb.
Scanned copy of PwD/PwBD/UDID certificate (if applicable) - pdf format between 50 kb to 300 kb.

Candidates must ensure the following points before filling in the Online Application Forms:
Whether they fulfill the eligibility conditions for the Test as prescribed under the heading ‘Conditions of Eligibility’.
They have filled their gender and category viz General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/GenEWS/SC/ ST/ Male/Female/Transgender, in the relevant column correctly.
Candidates have filled their Subject and City of Examination in the relevant column correctly.
The PwD/PwBD candidate may fill the relevant column in the Online Application Form. Only PwD/PwBD candidates must fill this column, and the others have to leave it blank.
Whether they have kept a printout of Application Form (confirmation page) for their own record.
Candidates can apply for a maximum of 10 courses as per schedule and shifts available.
