Sant Nirankari Mission is a spiritual organisation that focuses on promoting peace, human unity, and self-realisation. It was founded in 1929 by Buta Singh. The education department of Sant Nirankari Mandal has been offering scholarships to deserving students since 1993. The Baba Gurubachan Singh Scholarship Scheme 2025-2026 has been recently launched by the Education Department of Sant Nirankari Mandal.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections and meritorious students to help them pursue degree and diploma courses. The Baba Gurubachan Singh Scholarship Scheme 2025-26 is designed to support students who have performed well academically but face financial challenges to continue their education. This scheme is also available for sponsorship for anyone who wishes to contribute towards this mission. The scholarship can be for one year or the entire duration of the programme. The scheme has been named Baba Gurubachan Singh Scholarship Scheme 2025-26 and will supersede all previous scholarship schemes of Sant Nirankari Mandal.

Key Highlights of Baba Gurubachan Singh Scholarship

The scholarship scheme is open to all those who are in need of financial assistance to continue with their studies. It aims to help students who have achieved excellence in academics, sports and cultural activities. For this scholarship scheme, a committee of the Education Department of Sant Nirankari Mandal will assess the financial and economic condition of the applicant’s family. The committee may also inspect the home and living conditions of the applicant. Some of the key highlights of the Baba Gurubachan Singh Scholarship Scheme of 2025-26.

Academic Qualification- Students securing not less than 60 per cent marks in their Class 12th education.

Course Enrollment- Candidates wishing to apply for the scholarship should first be enrolled in either of the following degrees or courses-

• BA and BA (Hons)
• BCom and BCom (Hons)
• B-Pharm
• D-Pharm
• B.Ed
• D.El.Ed
• BSc
• Hotel Management
• MCA
• MA
• M.Com
• MSc
• GNM
• BBA
• Training in sports, instrumental/vocal music from a recognised institute

Note- The selected students will receive an annual assistance of up to Rs. 50,000 or the tuition fee payable each year, whichever is less. In the final year of the course, 25 per cent of the course fee will be paid only upon receipt of the final year mark sheet. The financial assistance will be decided based on the requirements and capacity of the student to study the chosen course.

Eligibility Conditions for the Course-

• The applicant should be a regular student of any recognised university or institute in India.
• The family members of the applicant should submit the latest pay slips and IT returns of all the earning family members. They can also submit a family Income Certificate issued by an officer from the Revenue Department, which indicates that the total annual family income is not more than Rs. 3.50 Lakhs.
• The date of submission of the Income Certificate should not be more than three months before the date of application.
• Students who have taken admission through a Management or any other quota of the university are not eligible for this scholarship.
• Students who have failed in any of the subjects in previous semesters are not eligible.
• Candidates detained or penalised by the university for any act of indiscipline are not qualified for this scheme.
• Those who have applied for a scholarship from any other source will not qualify for this scholarship.

Applying for the Scholarship

Students applying for the scholarship should submit a checklist. and application form in the format prescribed by Sant Nirankari Mandal, along with the documents required.

The scholarship application must be submitted only through SPEED POST at the Education Department, Sant Nirankari Administrative Block, Nirankari Chowk, Burari Road, Delhi-110009 (India).

Documents Required for Application

• Duly filled in and affixed the photographed application form on the prescribed format for each year.
• Mark sheets of all academic qualifications starting from Class-X
• Passing certificates of Class X and Class XII
• Copy of the latest pay slip and I.T. returns of all earning members of the family.
• Certificate by the institution stating (a) candidates will not/have been granted scholarships under any scheme of other private, religious or spiritual organisation or Government authorities. (b) has not taken admission through Management/Convenor or any other Quota.
• Affidavit
• Copy of the results of all the semesters, exam passed
• Copy of the latest fee receipt issued by the University/Institutes
• Details of the fee, including tuition fee, library, and hostel fees, are duly signed by the Principal/Administrator of the institute.
• Copy of the passbook of the savings account of the applicant. The bank account should be in the name of the student. Name of student, bank account number, and IFC code should be maintained on a copy of the passbook/cheque.
• Copy of the bank statement of all family members
• The admission slip/letter by which the applicant has been offered admission by the university.
• Copy of Aadhar and Pan Card
• Copy of the letter received from the previous years from the Education Department

Note- The documents submitted along with the application form should be ticked and sealed. It should be self-attested; incomplete forms will not be considered.

Submission of Application form-

All the documents and application form should be submitted to the Member Incharge, Education Department, Sant Nirankari Mandal on or before the date of submission, that is, November 30, 2025. The education committee will prepare a list of shortlisted candidates by March 15, 2026.

Selection Procedure for the Scholarship-

Once all the application forms have been submitted, eligible students may be called for an interview only if required. In case they are called in person, they will need to produce original documents based on which the grant of financial assistance is made. Applicants who fail to appear before the committee on the scheduled date and time will forfeit their financial claim.
