Entrance Examinations

The BA hons. entrance examination is conducted by various universities and colleges to provide enrollment to students in the course. The entrance examination may vary from college to college. Several universities conduct only written examination,while several conduct all the three rounds of the examination: written, group discussion and personal interview.

Written Test: The written examination is conducted to test the knowledge of the candidate of general awareness, language proficiency and mental ability.

Group Discussion: Students who qualify the written test are eligible for appearing in group discussion. Candidates’ leadership skills, teamwork and attentiveness are tested in this round.

Personal Interview: It is the last round of the entrance test, students who qualify both written test and group discussion are called to appear in the personal interview. The cut-off varies from college to college. Students who score or acquire rank within the announced cut-off are eligible for enrolling in the college.
