Each institute may vary regarding teaching or fees structure.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

The University of Delhi (DU) offers undergraduate law courses , including LLB and BA LLB , through its Faculty of Law. The key DU institutions that cater to legal studies include:

  1. Campus Law Centre (CLC) : Offers a 3-year LLB program for graduates from any stream.
  2. Law Centre I (LC-I) and Law Centre II (LC-II) : Also provide the 3-year LLB program.

At present, DU also offers a 5-year integrated BA LLB program. Students interested in pursuing a BA LLB can also explore other institutions outside DU, such as the National Law Universities (NLUs) or private universities.

The 3-year LLB programs at DU are highly competitive, requiring candidates to pass the DU LLB Entrance Exam . DU's law programs are renowned for their affordable fees, excellent faculty, and a vibrant academic environment.

Hope it helps !

Hello Anuja,

Yes, you can change your course from BA to LLB after your first year, but it depends on the specific policies of the college or university you are attending. Typically, you may need to apply for a transfer, and whether this is permitted can depend on several factors:

  1. College/University Policies : Most colleges have a set procedure for transferring from one course to another. You will need to check with the administrative office or academic counselor to understand their transfer policies.

  2. Eligibility Criteria : If you are changing from BA to LLB, you will need to meet the eligibility requirements for the LLB program. Some colleges may require you to have completed specific subjects or may have a cutoff for admissions based on your performance in the first year.

  3. Admission Process : Some colleges might allow you to join the LLB program only if there are vacancies or if you meet certain academic criteria. You may need to apply for the new course and go through an admission process.

  4. Lateral Entry : Some law schools offer lateral entry into their LLB programs, but this is typically after completing a specified number of years in another related course or based on academic performance.

You should consult with your college's academic office to determine the exact steps, eligibility, and documents required to change your course. It is always best to act quickly to ensure you don’t miss any deadlines or procedural requirements.

BA LLB HONS PROGRAMME is a five year integrated course that combines the study of law with various subjects in the humanities and social sciences.

Delhi University (DU) has a reservation for the children and widows of armed forces personnel, known as the CW quota.

There is nothing much mention in the DU information Bulletin about the procedure/selection under CW category. There is no separate cut off for this category so one can not get to know whether he/she is eligible for the first cut or second cut off and so we don't have cutoff for this category under b.a llb course delhi University.

However,The last year cut-offs for the 2023 DU LLB entrance exam are as follows:

General: 85–90 percentile, or 255–270 marks out of 300

OBC: 70–80 percentile, or 210–240 marks out of 300

SC/ST: 60–70 percentile, or 180–210 marks out of 300

EWS: 75–85 percentile, or 225–255 marks out of 300

Your marks are far away from last years cutoff so it is most likely you are not getting admission through general category but if you want to get admission through cw quota then delhi University give forms for that candidates who are eligible for these seats you need to fill this form in the college with documents of proof that you belong to this quota after submitting the form they will call you if you are in merit list.basically there is a separate counselling process for this quota.

Hope you get your answer!!!

if you are doing a BA program from a regular DU college, you are eligible to apply for an M.Com degree from the DU School of Open Learning (SOL). Since you are already a part of Delhi University, your admission to the SOL M.Com program will be based on your performance in your BA degree.

You can apply for the M.Com program through the DU SOL admission portal.

CA, CFA, Acca and other courses you can do along with DU sol m com. In my opinion, you should look out for any professional course if you do m.com from distance learning program.

you can generally obtain a migration certificate even if you haven't completed your degree, as long as you are leaving your current institution to pursue further studies elsewhere.in your case, dropping out of your BSc 2nd year to enroll in a BA program at a different college would qualify for a migration certificate, even if the colleges are not affiliated with each other.

Contact the examination department of your current college (where you are dropping out from) to initiate the process of obtaining a migration certificate. Along with that transfer certificate, and a duly filled application form is also required to complete transfer process from one college to another.

Good luck!!

Hello,

In Meerut, government-recognized universities, such as Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), offer online BA (Hons) programs in Political Science through open and distance learning. This is a good option for any working professional or other commitment, as IGNOU is a very reliable place to pursue such programs. The website of the university may be checked for detailed course structures, fees, and admission procedures.

You have to log in to the IGNOU portal when there is admission, submit documents required during the admission cycle which typically happens in January and July, and you are to pay for the fees online. BA Political Science has major concentrations on foundational political theory, public administration, and comparative politics that would appeal to your goals of getting an education.

Meerut may also have other open universities like Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University offering similar courses. Visit their respective official portals for precise and up-to-date information.
