About DIAC New Delhi

The Delhi International Arbitration Centre was established in 2009, is the first Institutional Arbitration Centre to be annexed by the High Court. An impartial, open, and expert organisation, DIAC promotes the increasing demand for institutional arbitration. The Indian government has designated the Delhi International Arbitration Centre as a "Institute of National Importance".

The Delhi International Arbitration Centre charges Rs 5,000 for claims up to Rs 10 Lakhs and Rs 10,000 for claims beyond Rs 10 Lakhs. Meetings of the Arbitral Tribunal committee are restricted to certain phases, including setting terms of reference, recording oral testimony, and hearing oral arguments.

Internships lasting four to eight weeks are available to prospective students pursuing LLM/Ph.D programmes starting in their second or third year  According to the Arbitration Committee, 3289 claims were advanced and 897 cases were settled in 2023. DIAC also provides a library, a moot court and modern amenities.
