B.Tech Software Engineering in Collaboration with Thompson Rivers University, Canada at IKG PTU Jalandhar Offline Course

Software engineers directly impact many sectors of society, including manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, government and the media.

B.Tech. in Software Engineering which is the application of engineering principles to the design, development and implementation of the software. Software Engineering blends engineering, business, computing science, project management and quality assurance into software product development. Software Engineering is one of the most in-demand and fastest-growing professions.

From the admitted batch of 30 students, 7 students fulfilling the eligibility criteria (mentioned below) of Thompson Rivers University, Canada will have the opportunity to join TRU after successfully completing their first year at IKGPTU Main Campus. Programm structure at TRU comprises of three years (6 semesters) at TRU and One year employee paid co-op training to be arranged through TRU. These seven students will be awarded a degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering by Thompson Rivers University, Canada.

The students who will not join TRU will continue at IKGPTU, Main Campus for B.Tech in the Software Engineering degree programm.
