IKG PTU Jalandhar Placements
IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar has a placement cell that provides various job opportunities to the students. The PTU Jalandhar placement cell invites a number of companies to its placements every year. PTU Jalandhar placement cell is called the Corporate Relations and Alumni Department (CR&A). To provide good placement opportunities to the students the university has tie-ups with many industrial associations.
As per the NIRF 2024 (Engineering) of Punjab Technical University Jalandhar, 264 UG students were placed with an average salary of Rs 5.00 lakhs. It has collaborations with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE Chandigarh), Jalandhar Management Association (JMA), etc. PTU Jalandhar placement cell prepares students for the placements by conducting seminars, workshops, mock interviews, etc. It acts as a bridge between companies and students. Quality of placement of college is very low.Only few students get placed through college.Currently placements of college getting down and down. But currently college is working on placement may latter we get better results on placement.

Talking about the placements of my branch it is not good enough most of the students get their placements by their own no support by college for mechanical students. Some of our students get selected in cs placement too. The highest placement of my department is 12 lpa and the average placement is 6lpa.
