SLIET Longowal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) Longowal was established in the year 1989 and Officially on 20th December 1991 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Over 48 courses are offered at Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Levels. 26 courses at diploma and UG Level, 22 courses at PG and doctoral level. Admissions into the courses for the students at SLIET Longowal are done based on the entrance exam and merit in the qualifying examinations. The branches in which the courses are offered are engineering, general management, food processing, Agricultural and food engineering, physics, chemistry, maths and english. SLIET Longowal also offers scholarships, placements and all other facilities to its students at the campus.

SLIET Longowal Courses:

Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral courses are offered for the eligible candidates who are interested to pursue their studies at SLIET Longowal. Courses with different specialisations such as B.E/B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, Msc, Ph.D, diploma and certifications are offered at the college. All the SLIET Longowal Courses are offered at full-time mode and the duration of all the courses are two and four years. Students are requested to fulfil the eligibility criteria to apply for the SLIET Longowal courses.

SLIET Longowal Admissions:

Students are admitted  into the courses at SLIET Longowal based on the nationwide entrance examinations. Entrance exams scores such as JEE Main /GATE /CAT /CMAT /SET-V /PUCET are acceptable.  SLIET Longowal admissions are done purely on the basis of scores acquired by the students in the entrance exams. Once the students meet the eligibility criteria and are shortlisted for the courses they are subsequently followed by counselling process, seat allotment, interview and payment of fees.

SLIET Longowal Cutoff:

Admissions into B.Tech programmes  are provided based on the students performance in JEE Main entrance exam at SLIET Longowal. Students who acquired SLIET Longowal cutoff score are eligible to apply for the counselling process. Candidates should select SLIET Longowal as preferred choice of selection for admissions into B.Tech Programme.

SLIET Longowal Scholarships:

Scholarships at SLIET Longowal are provided to the merit and eligible students. SLIET Longowal scholarships are given to the students who acquire at least 50% marks in their academics.There are many other scholarships students can avail during their academic years. Training and placement cell at SLIET Longowal grooms and hones the students till they are placed in well reputed organisations . SLIET Longowal Training and placement cell conducts a few of the activities such as Campus Placement Activities, Mock Interviews, Career Fair, Career Counselling to make them industry ready.  Eligible students can apply for SLIET Longowal placements which are provided to  final year students. The Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is located at Longowal Distt. Sangrur (Pb.), India. Students can reach the campus through any mode of transportation. Sangrur-Barnala is the bus stop on the highway which is 8 Kms away from campus. Sangrur, Sunam, Dhuri and Chandigarh are the nearest railway stations for the students to reach the campus within 21 minutes. Chandigarh Airport is the nearest airport for the students to reach the campus within 2 hours 30 minutes.
