The university offers courses at three levels: undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral. The varsity offers a total of 57 courses. NIT Jalandhar courses are offered in engineering, science and management streams. B.Tech, M.Tech., M.B.A., M.Sc. are Ph.D are the National Institute of Technology Jalandhar courses students can apply for. The university offers Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) programmes in 30 and 3 specialisations respectively. The mode of study of NIT Jalandhar courses is full-time. The duration of NIT Jalandhar UG courses is 4 years. On the other hand, PG courses offered by the university are of 2 years duration.

NIT jalandhar has a good infrastructure with well air conditioned labs and lecture theatre. Library with a vast range of books all labs have all rhe necessary equipments , good hostel with wifi facilities and other things
NIT JALANDHAR is pretty average college as par standards of NITS. It have air conditioned library and have modern sports facilities and ground and modern tech gym. Still numerous labs in different departments doesn't have modern equipment and instruments.
College is located in outskirts of city and have lush green campus which pollution free environment. Institute have center football field cricket ground . Also labs have equipped with modern equipment and technology

According to me, your decision between the two should mostly depend on your interests.
To determine your area of interest, you should learn about both subjects, speak with students who are already engaged in them to have a good understanding of both, and then choose one.
Now that you know how to accomplish your best in that topic, getting the best placement possible won't be too difficult for you.
NIT Jalandhar have better placement thab Guru nanak dev university.
Also you getting NIT tag which obiously have great value.
As per my opinion, NIT Jalandhar and now it's all upon your interest.

92 students were placed in the mechanical department. The total number of students was not mentioned on the official website of NIT Warangal.
