LPUNEST is the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission at the university. For some courses, LPUNEST is only considered for scholarship purposes. Lovely Professional University Course Admissions
Lovely Professional University offers admission to courses at the diploma, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. The merit of the qualifying exam determines admission to the LPU diploma programme. Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) is used for all other regular programmes offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. According to the LPU Jalandhar admission process, after passing the LPUNEST, students must participate in the online LPUNEST counselling. Once assigned a seat, must pay the LPU Jalandhar fees and get documents verified to complete the LPU admission procedure.
Candidates should be aware that national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main for BTech, CEED for M.Des, GATE for M.Tech, and others are accepted for LPU Jalandhar admissions and do not require them to take LPUNEST.

But it is recommended to give LPUNEST to increase the chance of getting into the university and LPUNEST also helps to secure a scholarship in the university based on the rank of LPUNEST.
For B.Tech. [Lateral Entry] and B.Pharm. [Lateral Entry], qualifying the LPUNEST is mandatory before taking admission.
