IGNOU Facilities
Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi offers many facilities to its students. IGNOU facilities include library, cafeteria, auditorium, medical facilities and guest rooms. IGNOU library has a huge number of books. A dedicated digital section that has CDs, DVDs, e-books, e-journals is also part of the library of IGNOU New Delhi.

College Infrastructure
The college has modern classrooms and all updated facilities. The lighting is good and ventilation is also good. Students have basic access like playground, sports etc. The canteen have decent food menu.
Infrastructure was very poor. Academic are average.

Indira Gandhi University provided colleges for classes are not good. Their infrastructure was very poor. Classroom Are in very bad condition. Desk are not good condition. Fan were not working properly.
In a nutshell, IGNOU is very good university.

The colleges provided by Indira Gandhi open University for BA english are average in infrastructure. Some colleges are good and some colleges have poor infrastructure. The IGNOU infrastructure are good. They provide material on time and their study material are very good.

Yes, IGNOU offers an M.Sc. in Zoology (MSCZOO) through distance learning.
The program covers subjects like Genetics, Animal Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, and Immunology.
It is a 2 year course, with a Postgraduate Diploma awarded after the first year.
Meerut has IGNOU study centres like Meerut College (2728) and D.N. (PG) College (2799) where the program is available.
The total course fee is around Rs. 28,400, and admissions are ongoing for 2025.

Not qualifying for Delhi’s D.El.Ed. isn’t the end of your teaching career plans. Haryana’s D.El.Ed. is recognized by NCTE and is a valid route to becoming a primary school teacher. Many students from outside Haryana apply and get admission, though you should note that some seats are reserved for Haryana domicile candidates. Your plan to do B.A. from IGNOU alongside D.El.Ed. is very smart—it keeps you academically progressing and later makes you eligible for B.Ed., which will open doors for teaching in higher classes as well. Make sure you check the Haryana Board’s eligibility criteria before applying and confirm if your preferred institute offers quality teaching practice and internships. Good faculty and practical exposure during D.El.Ed. matter a lot for skill development. Overall, this is a good alternative and keeps you on track toward your long-term goal.

Your first year is july 2023–June 2024, and your second year is July 2024–June 2025 as you were admitted in July 2023
You must turn in the second-year (July 2024 session) assignments in order to sit for the December 2025 Term-End Exam.
Assignments for the same academic session as your exam registration are required by IGNOU.
Send them in before the December exam deadline of September 30, 2025.
You will not be permitted to take the term-end exam if your assignments are not turned in.
