Our college has a well-managed library. The infrastructure in our college is kind of average as it is one the oldest and reputed institutions in the country. Everything available here is good, including mess, sports, medical support, etc.
I think our college has the country's top educators as teachers in the field of dental sciences. You don't need to worry about anything. The course curriculum is always relevant, and students being trained here are supposed to be the country's leaders.
Our batch contains 40 students, and all of them were placed in good positions in reputed medical institutions. However, as being dentists, we do not need to worry about placements as we are always independent and can start our own clinics. Many students opt for MS and specialisations instead of jobs
One of the best education here
Classrooms are the best compared to other DU colleges. Campus Wi-Fi is available but not for students; it is for the faculty. However, there are computers on which you can do work related to your course. Other than studies, it is prohibited to use the campus computers for personal work.
All teachers are helpful to all types of students. Some may seem arrogant, but that's their way of teaching. Looking at things, they are highly qualified for their jobs, and they know what they are teaching us. There are 2 semesters per year, and exams are held semester-wise. Around 50-60 students pass, and some get backlogs in 1 or 2 subjects.
There are no direct placements for the course of Physics Honours, but after a Master's, there is a possibility of getting placed in the field of research, or you can also get a job teaching Physics in many universities in the country, like JNU, QMU, Allahabad University, etc
The infrastructure of the college is not that good. The classrooms are under tin shades and do not have air conditioning. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the campus, only in the library and labs. The library is good, with many useful books and magazines. The college does not provide hostel facilities.
The teaching staff are good; however, the course is completely theoretical and doesn't provide any practical or hands-on experience. This makes it difficult for students to get industry-ready. If you want to pursue a career in this field, you'll need to continue your studies, as the course basically prepares you for teaching or research. The semester system has exams in June and December, with a passing grade of 40%. The difficulty level is moderate.
The college does not provide placements, but some internship opportunities are available during the college years. However, the number of internship opportunities is also very low. Mostly people who enrolled in this course move for msc.
Classrooms were equipped with A/C at that time, but not sure whether they are working or not now. The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi facility is not available. They provide you with a password, but it doesn't get connected. Labs are well-equipped with instruments and are quite spacious. The library is good, and the faculty members are cooperative. Food in the canteen is okay. Some of the food items are very good, but the quality needs to be upgraded. I have no idea about games. But, I think facilities for every game are available. Students of our college won several sports competitions.
All the teaching and non-teaching faculty members are the best. You may find some of the teachers not very knowledgeable, but you can manage your subject well. The qualification of all teachers in our course was PhD, and some have even done M.Phill. Projectors and blackboards are available in classrooms. The student-teacher ratio in the first year was 50:1.
No placements are provided for the students of this course. This is not the issue with other courses, as only our course students are not offered placements by any company after graduation. So, it not the fault of our college too. A placement fare is conducted every year, and lots of students take part in it. Students from other colleges also participate in it.
Glorious beginning happed here
The labs are great, but the instruments are not repaired often, the hostels have very few seats, and the labs have great infrastructure like projector white boards. The classrooms are spacious, with enough seating capacity for at least 50 people. The department has a garden and greenhouses where plant materials are available to perform practicals. The teachers are not very tech-savvy but are cooperative, encouraging students to participate in internships and providing great course materials.
The teachers are highly qualified, having Ph.D.s in their respective fields; however, they are not so willing to use teaching tools like projectors, which often fails to satisfy students. They provide great study materials, are always available for solving queries and help us greatly perform all lab work with their years of expertise. The course curriculum is more focused on research-based study in areas of STEM, which prepares us for working in world-renowned labs with the correct precision of performance. The semester exams are quite difficult, with application-based questions set by state-of-the world faculty members of Delhi University. The pass percentage is well above 70%. People who follow classes regularly can easily pass the exam with minimal effort.
The placement for science courses is very limited. People usually opt for pursuing a master's and then a Ph.D. Off-campus placements in various labs are available. The highest placement of Rs. 7 Lacs was given in Ramjas college. Only 30% of the students get offered internships as this course has more scope for research so people prefer to pursue higher education. Lab assistant, research fellow, scientist, lab technician, and teacher are some of the top roles offered in this course.
Placement should be improved
Delhi University's Ph.D. program in Physiology is supported by advanced infrastructure, including modern labs, state-of-the-art research tools, and extensive library resources. The university also provides essential amenities like hostels and Wi-Fi, creating a conducive environment for high-quality research.
The Ph.D. program in Physiology at Delhi University offers rigorous coursework followed by extensive research under expert faculty. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and is designed to develop deep expertise in physiological sciences, preparing students for successful careers in academia and research.
Ph.D. graduates in Physiology from Delhi University often secure roles in academia, research institutions, and industries like biotechnology and healthcare. While structured placement services are limited, individual initiative, strong research output, and networking are key to securing positions.
Great experience and good facilities
Affordable living cost
The infrastructure of the college is good but not the best. There are mess and canteen facilities that provide quality food at reasonable prices. The library seems very good with no disturbance. The environment of the college is great. Overall, it was a good experience at this college.
Faculty members were up to the mark. Teachers used to make sure that every topic was clear to each student. Teachers are always available even on call to take our queries and to help us to any extent. It was a unique experience for me. The course was very much organised and well-structured. Information was up to the mark and always available on our desk. Exams were very easy to score high to consider the future of students. There were also cultural activities to involve the students in other activities.
This course does not allow students to avail placements right after graduation. Students must specialize in a part field within psychology through master's or M.Phil for placements. Seniors from our department have worked hard in various hospitals and MNCs.
Okay
Great experience
It okk to take admission here
The infrastructure is below par, the grounds are not well maintained, the equipment is broken and the facilities are not good. The classrooms were dingy and the paint was also coming off at most places. There is no college wifi facility, the food in the canteen is also not hygienically prepared.
I did my bachelors in business economics as i had had an inclination towards finance since school. The quality of teaching depends upon the professor but it’s not at par with private colleges. The curriculum is outdated and does not include the recent developments in the field. The sole college curriculum would not make one job ready.
The placements were way below par, only sales and marketing companies showed offering a base 2-3 LPA. Out of my batch noone got placed and the few who were placed got off campus opportunities, but at better colleges in DU, you get better placements.
My course cost 26k per year, which is very cheap when compared to other private colleges, since studying in DU gives you ample of time to pursue non academic stuff, it is definitely worth the money you pay for an undergraduate degree.
Campus life at DU is fine, the infrastructure is not good but societies are great, they play a pivotal role in making you explore your interests and different fields of works. You get a lot of time for that and the faculty is very supportive of students taking part in various societies.
I was pursuing various courses alongside college, so i used to only go to give the exams, i had no such pressure, the teachers were quite understandingly, you get a very diverese set of people in your batch, that makes the learning experience very holistic.
Delhi University infrastructure includes several modern amenities with state-of-the-art infrastructure for all its affiliated colleges. The university provides transport facilities, banking facilities a university library and various other modern facilities to their students. Our university has around 19 hostels and spread around its north and south campus.
The faculty of this college is great as the teachers are well qualified and some have done PhD, and everyone have deep knowledge of industries. They are very friendly with the students, and above all, they are very hardworking, one can clear their doubts to anyone in the faculty anytime. The course curriculum is useful and prescribes by Delhi University, which was standard in all colleges.
Most reputed Companies like E&Y, KPMG, L&T, Mahindra, RBS, ICICI bank, etc., visit the campus for placement drives. This time we had good placement offers for major courses like B.A. Economic (H), BMS, B.Com and CS (H). It is one of the best colleges in terms of placements in Delhi University.
My fees was around ₹78000 for whole course.
Diverse campus, innovative learning methods.
Most reputed college in all parameters
The infrastructure is eco friendly. The labs and classrooms are good and have good ventilation. The library is fully air-conditioned and wifi. All types of books are available. Wi-Fi free campus with good speed Sport ground is big and all type of games are available as well.
Teachers are very knowledgeable; they enlighten us with their knowledge and help us with online and offline material exams. Regularly held tests are conducted by the teachers. We have the facilities to conduct experiments related to course to improve our mind.
I say honestly, after doing BSc in Chemistry, I don't need placements as I want to do an internship in IIT or Manipal then I will go for any company because we seriously need to work under someone's guidance before jumping to the job. Placement offers are good in.
Yes value for money
Many type of events held on the college campus make it so easy to make good connections with students and societies are active in extracurricular activities.
For a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) student, getting admission to a B.Sc. in Data Science at BHU (Banaras Hindu University) or DU (Delhi University) might be challenging, as this field typically requires a background in mathematics.
1. Delhi University (DU) :DU generally requires students to have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level for admission to courses like B.Sc. in Data Science or similar fields like Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. If you don't have Mathematics as a subject in your 12th standard, you may not meet the eligibility criteria for these courses at DU.
2. Banaras Hindu University (BHU): Similar to DU, BHU usually requires Mathematics as a compulsory subject for courses like B.Sc. in Data Science or related fields. You would need to check the specific program's eligibility criteria, but generally, without a background in Mathematics, it may be difficult to qualify.

Hello,
As of 2024, the School of Open Learning (SOL) at the University of Delhi (DU) offers 4-year degree programs for Honours courses, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Under the new structure, students can choose to exit after 3 years with a Bachelor’s degree or continue for the 4th year to complete a Bachelor's degree with Honours. This change is part of the broader reforms aimed at improving flexibility in higher education and aligning Indian degrees with international standards. However, students must meet specific academic criteria to continue for the 4th year.
Hope it helps !
Hey there I am glad to help you out
Yes it is true that we can migrate from sol to regular but it is not that easy as it sounds!
Very first thing you need to keep in mind that your 1st year result that covers (1st and 2nd sems) both declared results before the migration date gets over. How to know the migration date? Remember it is available on du main website notice but you need to check regularly. It is also important that sol results are declared later than the regular and might the date comes to an end for migration process.
Once you are aware that you have your 1st year result before the date. Then go to different colleges for the visit. Meet the principal or the main head or important staff. They will say that it is impossible but if your luck works and you are able to influence the member of the staff of college. (However it is very hard to do so because they won't let you in directly to principal's office). It is to be Noted the migration process totally depends on your luck if you don't have Any approach.
Once they agree they will let you write a NOC and stamp on it with principal's signature. Then you have to go to sol office (north campus) there you will also get a stamp on your Noc which you have to submit in college office. However in sol office there you need to do many obligations and that too very fastly and tackle the lathargic staff also carry cash minimum 6–7 thousand because you need to pay your 3rd sems fees to them and they only accept cash. After all the documentation you have to submit the Noc to the respective college. And pay your fees. You will be successfully migrated.
Remember it's a very complicated and tough process if you have courage to do so with sincerity then only go for this. Because you have to visit many colleges of du and you may get a very short span. Suggestion to carry your photocopy of 1st year marksheet and sheets and pen.
If you wish to do migrate it is not impossible but it needs a lot of hardwork and emotional balance because tackling with du management staff of work is like you are dealing with a govt bank officer 2 mins before lunch time.
All the best!!!
