Infrastructure of the college building in the hostel part is quite good, with proper roots and cleanliness. There are also many clubs in the college like lds, sece etc which are very active. Also there are supporting senior who intract with the students and guide them.
There are many good teachers with some exceptions. 3 years LLB course is divided into 6 semesters with 5 papers in each semester. There is no pressure as we get enough time between two papers. At the time of promotion to next semester we must have clear all the papers except 4 it means that if we have got back in 5 papers we cannot be promoted.
Initially when I take the admission there were no placements or if provided they were very few. Hindi 2nd year it is very much improve due to our efforts because we made a placement field at invites the number of companies to hire students.
My college infrastructure is very large the campus is very large in area it's in acres. The campus infrastructure is great, and the labs, canteen, and classrooms are very spacious. Canteen provides good delicious meals, and it has Wi-Fi facilities also.
The faculty members are good and are always ready to help the students and enhance their career. The faculty members will teach you lots of things and will give a clear exposure of industry and are the good counsellor for the students, who want the suggestions.
Every year, companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Jaro Education, Policy Bazar, Epic Research, Capgemini visit the campus to hire students. Only a few companies are well known which come for hiring like Byjus, Policy Bazar, but also they don't offer enough package for fresher.
The hostel has both mess and a canteen which provides a decent quality of food and snacks. The college has top facilities like Wi-Fi, hostel, classrooms, libraries for the students of different years and labs.
Very good & Experienced faculty members who provides detailed knowledge of the subject & make you aware of all the other matters relating to the subject. They also arrange the industrial visits regularly for getting practical exposure of things we study, And the curriculum is also designed nicely, year by year subjects and practicals.
Placements of the college are not that good, it is pretty average. The placements of other colleges are pretty good compared to our college. Very few people are only able to get a good placement from our college who have good skills and a CGPA as well.
Infrastructure of our college was good and classrooms were fully AC. Smart classes were there for the student for their good benefits. Hostels were fine and rooms were good in the hostel. Canteen food is also nicee.
Every faculty is well-qualified in their respective fields, and they are very friendly with children that we can easily clear all our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant because by opting for this course, you will be prepared for private industry as well as some private institutions.
Top companies like Apollo Pharmacy, Artemis Hospital, and CK Birla Hospital visit our campus for recruitment. The placements of the college are good as far as I have heard this college provides a plethora of opportunities to students depending upon their interests.
The infrastructure of Shyam Lal College is okay but not very modern. Classrooms are decent but many of them feels old and need some renovation. Fans and lights work fine but sometimes projectors don’t work properly. The library is good but gets crowded very fast, specially during exam time. Labs are usable but computers are slow in few rooms which makes practicals little irritating. The campus is not very big but it is clean most of the time. Overall infrastructure is manageable, not great but enough for regular college needs.
The academics in Shyam Lal College is generally good, but not the best. Some teachers explain topics very well and are supportive, while few others just finish the syllabus quickly and students get confused. Notes are provided but sometimes they are outdated or not very detailed. Attendance rules are not too strict, but sometimes information about classes or internals comes late which creates little mess. If you study on your own along with the classes, you can score good marks. Overall academics is decent but depends a lot on which teacher you get.
Placements in Shyam Lal College are average and not very high level. Few good companies come but offers are limited and mostly only some students get placed. Packages are mostly on the lower side, only rare students get higher salary. The placement cell tries to help but sometimes information comes late or process feels unorganized. You still need to prepare on your own because college support is not enough for everyone. Overall placements are okay-okay, not bad but also not very impressive.
There are many facilities like wifi, labs and library is available in the college. The quality of food is good. There are hostel facility for those students who came from distant places. College infrastructure is good, it includes well equipped libraries, wifi facility, computer labs, canteen, hostel, clean classrooms and other facilities.
Very good & Experienced faculty members who provides detailed knowledge of the subject & make you aware of all the other matters relating to the subject. They also arrange the industrial visits regularly for getting practical exposure of things we study, And the curriculum is also designed nicely, year by year subjects and practicals.

There are well-furnished labs, classrooms and a library, and there is a free Wi-Fi connection in the college. The food provided by the mess is decent and in addition, the campus has various other refreshment outlets like Coffee Day Express.
The teachers were knowledgeable but management is not cooperative they should focus more on club activities rather the college facilities. They should have more focused on study rather than these club activities.
The companies that recruited students from the campus were Oki General, Amazon, Deloitte, Hdfc bank, ICICI Bank, Deskera, Kotak Mahindra Bank. Top roles offered at our campus are sales and marketing executive, assistant manager, HR manager, and business analysis.
There are enough computers for student use. Wi-Fi and classroom setups work well. Hostels are good, but the food in the mess is average and can be inconsistent. Sports grounds are accessible and popular among students.
The quality of faculty varies, with some teachers being very good while others show little depth or interest in teaching. Many experienced professors have retired or moved to private universities. The curriculum is relevant but not very focused on industry needs.
Placements for B.Com students at DU are average. About 40 to 50% of students get placed depending on the college and their skill level. Most job offers come from sales, customer support, and business development roles, rather than core commerce.
The campus buildings are old but still soundly built; however, there is considerable neglect in some blocks. The rooms for lectures are big enough but are not equipped with the latest facilities. Bathrooms are mostly in dirty conditions, and there are very few dustbins around the department.
Students have a lot of academic work and are always busy with assignments, quizzes, and internal exams, so they have very little leisure time. The curriculum is appropriate and firm basis for further studies like CA, CS, or MBA.
Most of the work was aimed at basic accounting, sales coordination, and backend operations. The first salary for the majority of students was between ₹12,000 and ₹18,000 per month. Through references, teachers sometimes facilitate students, but it is their consent which matters. Students have to work outside the college ground as well to get good jobs.
It's very good and very nice all think the proper and nic absjw jsne jsne jsne jsne jsne jejek very very very good nice nice development nice so that they can be very very good nice one and good night good night
If I would be talking as academic wise it as not as much good because teachers are mainly hair for taking your attendance and marking you for your eye and CA not as well as interacting a student so this thing which I feel is not as good I will tell you University
As tell University talking about the placement it is not that good as compared to the private colleges because they are many companies who reject to go with like if I would be talking about my touch and there are only three company which have been
Yeah this college value for money is much more much more as the fees is only 12000 which is very very reasonable as compared to other University and facilities included hair so yes Delhi University is itself a brand name it is what to go for this
Aaj everybody know that talking about Delhi University campus life is awesome and for overall holistic development it very good it's Jean come true to give and to have your feeling and investing the time in Delhi University campus everytime there are many many activities and best going many singers and many celebrities illuminai come and entertainers
Hello aspirant,
With internal security, guards, and CCTV in numerous places, DU and JNU are typically safe and secure campuses, particularly during the day. However, occasional instances of theft, harassment, or altercations may happen, usually late at night or outside of campus areas, much like at any large public university. While DU's broad campuses necessitate greater individual vigilance, JNU is more restricted and residential. Though awareness is crucial, they are often not very dangerous.
Thank you
You missed Sem 1 exams at Deshbandhu College (DU) and fear you can't give Sem 3 exams or your admission gets cancelled. Do this: Go to college admin/exam department and explain your situation. Ask if you can give a supplementary exam for Sem 1. Check DU rules for missing exams and exam eligibility. Write an application to principal asking permission for Sem 3 or supplementary exam. Keep admission letter, ID, and any proof of why you missed exam. You want to know next steps for writing the application or DU policy details?
If you are a PCB student and want to apply for BA Psychology at Delhi University, you can still choose Psychology as a CUET domain subject even though you didn’t study it in Class 12. DU allows students from any stream to pick subjects like Psychology, Sociology, or Political Science for CUET. The idea that only Class 12 subjects can be chosen as domain subjects is a common confusion, but it doesn’t apply to most DU programmes, including BA Psychology.
Some colleges may prefer students with a background in the subject, but it isn’t a compulsory requirement. Your CUET score is what ultimately matters for admission. Since Psychology will be new for you, it helps to start preparing early so you can score well in CUET. All the best.
