The college does not have much to name as infrastructure. And for someone like me who has done the overall online or distance course per say I don’t think it matters that much. But from my understanding of the university it has basic facilities available.
IGNOU is an Open University, well it does provide facilities as promised by them, with a reliable internet portal and e-library. the study material provided by them is also fair and relevant. I'm pursuing distant learning.
It is well known for its distant learning education. My college has many centres and offers self-learning materials, video lectures and interactive learning. IGNOU has over 3000 learner supporting centres. Regional centres also offers face to face classes.
Hey,
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is a good university. IGNOU is a central government university that was established in 1985. It is accredited by NAAC, approved by AICTE, and recognized by UGC. IGNOU degrees are considered valid when applying for higher education, job opportunities, and government jobs.
The quality of study materials is good and that it's not easy to pass the exams. It is worth graduating from IGNOU because the university courses are authorized and recognized by the University Grants Commission.
However, it is difficult to get a job with a degree from IGNOU without any other degree or experience. Students get 6 to 8 books per subject and have to study all books.
Hope this helps you.
Greetings!
Non-verbal communication, as explored in IGNOU's BEGAE 182 course, offers several advantages. Firstly, it can convey emotions and feelings effectively. Facial expressions, gestures, and body language provide a nuanced understanding beyond words. Additionally, non-verbal cues enhance clarity. Visual aids, for example, can simplify complex information. Non-verbal communication is also crucial in cross-cultural interactions, where gestures and expressions can bridge language gaps. Furthermore, it plays a significant role in building trust. People often rely on non-verbal signals to gauge sincerity and authenticity. In professional settings, strong non-verbal communication skills contribute to effective leadership and teamwork. Understanding and utilizing these non-verbal elements can greatly enhance the overall effectiveness of communication, fostering better connections and mutual understanding.

Because IGNOU is an open university, it does not have a hostel.
IGNOU exams are held twice a year. One takes place in June, and the other in December.
IGNOU classes are mostly held on weekends, on Saturday and Sunday. However, because it is a correspondence course, attendance at the theory classes is optional, but attendance at the practical classes is required.
IGNOU diploma degrees, like regular degrees, are accepted everywhere. Because IGNOU is recognised by the UGC and AICTE, the degree will be recognised. As a result, IGNOU degrees are valid in the United States.
Yes, IGNOU degrees are recognised and valid, and a degree taken through distance education is valid to get a job in MNCs.
The university has a syllabus that includes a detailed explanation of each topic. Each topic contains several details that students must go over and write about in their assignments and exams. Despite the fact that the IGNOU degree appears difficult, and that IGNOU conducts a rigorous evaluation, it is not difficult to pass.
Both IGNOU and DU-SOL have their headquarters in Delhi, but IGNOU has regional centres throughout India in various states. IGNOU courses range in price from Rs 2,400 to Rs 64,800, while DU courses range in price from Rs 3,000 to Rs 81,570.
No, IGNOU does not currently offer the option to take exams from home. If you decide to enrol in IGNOU for any programme, whether it's a degree at the UG/PG level, a certificate, a diploma, or something else, you'll be asked to select a study centre when you fill out the application form.
There is no time limit for taking re-exams, but there is one for finishing the course programme in six years. If you have missed any previous exams, you may appear for any number of previous missed exams by paying the appropriate exam fee, as long as you have submitted assignments for these courses.
