IGNOU provide various types of study material , like live videos , notes , self learning material and practice ques . I attended few classes teacher were supportive and helped solve doubts . But for better results we need to study ourselves
College Infra
The overall infrastructure is good . Students can avail classes both online and offline on Saturday and sundays . Assignments gets submitted twice a year . Students are alloted to a nearby centres of IGNOU .
Placements
I have just completed my first year and not sure about the placements . But students who go with IGNOU often work on themselves and secure good positions in big companies . After completing the graduation . One can go for higher studies

MA Psychology - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
I have studied MA in Psychology and the journey has been pretty smooth with excellent teachers at my study centre and the curriculum is pretty easy to understand covering all the necessary aspects of the course.
College Infra
The mentors/teachers were amazing for this specific course. Procided in-depth guidelines. However, the process of reaching out to regional centre can he pretty tricky. Also, if you don't end up in the right WhatsApp or communication group, finding out everything can be tough. Overall, I would prefer to do a Psych program under IGNOU in Ahmedabad.
Campus Life
The course lies under an open university. This university has various study centres and one regional centre per region. Depending on the course, the study centres are opted. Hence, the campus life is varied.
Placements
The MA in Psychology course at Indira Gandhi National Open University doesn't have any placement facilities. So, it is very tough for me to have an understanding of this question or write anything about this.
Value For Money
It is definitely for money considering which course you opt into. The best thing about this college is that as it is distance learning it's not completely external. Hence, you get exposure to teachers, faculties, peer communication unlike to the external courses which conducts exams only.
