Academic of the qualities non comparable there vision was very clear about study they have very strictly routine for the students who does not achieve above 9 CGPA in semester exam strictly they have to clear exam to move forward classes.

      Placements

Placement college is so good they are there all placement cell where they prepare student for the placement before the companies come for the placement. Mainly all the student get placed directly through the college .

Good experience best for students whom wants study + job

      College Infrastructure

Giving nice institutes for practical classes and good faculty who teaches well. For technical courses these are some good perks. Decent labs and classes overall and also depends on your study center .

      Academics

Doing self study with notes and books. IGNOU provides the study material online in soft copy and in hard copy offline so students can choose preferable source of study material and study in online theory classes and offline practical classes

      Placements

IGNOU just provide the degree not the placement. Small placement campaigns happens in maidan garhi IGNOU head quarter students can visit there and give interviews to respective companies as their interest.

      Value for Money

Absolutely value for money for students whom wants to manage their studies and jobs side by side.

      Campus Life

Not as good as offline colleges what can anyone expect from distance learning.

      Others

Completed MCA from IGNOU grateful for all the support.. professors.. helped me in preparing for job interviews, IGNOU offers a variety of study material which makes understanding the concept really easy, the faculty is also very helpful.

      College Infrastructure

Study centers provided by IGNOU in the premises of DU colleges or individual institutes. Which having a limited facilities for IGNOU students and class schedule and practical details are given on email.

      Academics

Self learning is the key..study material and notes are provided on IGNOU websites and some courses offers online classes whereas some course offers offline classes like BCA and MCA both are offline in ignou.

      Placements

No proper support in placement, find jobs by your own once you have your degree. IGNOU just provide degree and if a student present and involve greatly with teachers then he could get a reference for job but not a proper placement campaign for all.

      Value for Money

Good for distance learning and people who want to manage to continue their studies along with your job

      Others

Self-studying is very important in ignou it's not like colleges which spoon-feeding everything to students, you must handle everything independently when balancing a job and studies. It's not about comfort it's all about focus on discipline and strategies that prioritize long-term career growth over ease.

This Institute can help you achieve good academics.

      College Infrastructure

IGNOU has a large and well-planned main campus in New Delhi that reflects its status as India’s biggest open university. The headquarters is spread over a vast area with administrative blocks, academic buildings, a central library, auditoriums, and research centres. The campus environment is generally calm and organised, giving it a serious academic feel rather than a lively college vibe. Facilities like libraries, computer labs, and seminar halls are functional and suited for academic and administrative work. However, since IGNOU mainly follows a distance-learning model, most students do not regularly use the main campus. The real experience depends heavily on regional and study centres, which vary in quality. Some centres are well maintained with clean classrooms, computer facilities, and helpful staff, while others have limited infrastructure and fewer amenities. Campus life, hostels, and extracurricular activities are minimal compared to regular universities. IGNOU’s infrastructure is designed more for accessibility and scale than for student life. It successfully supports millions of learners across the country but does not offer a traditional campus experience. Overall, IGNOU provides adequate and purposeful infrastructure for open learning, though students looking for a vibrant campus culture may find it limited.

      Academics

IGNOU’s academic system is built around flexibility and accessibility, making it especially suitable for working professionals, distance learners, and students who cannot attend regular colleges. The university offers a wide range of programmes, from certificates and diplomas to undergraduate, postgraduate, and research degrees across disciplines like arts, commerce, science, management, education, and social sciences. The curriculum is generally well-structured and aligned with UGC standards, focusing more on conceptual clarity than rote learning. Study materials are one of IGNOU’s strongest academic aspects. The self-learning books are detailed, easy to follow, and often written by experienced academics from reputed institutions. Online resources, recorded lectures, and digital platforms have improved academic access in recent years. However, academic support through counselling sessions can be inconsistent, as their quality largely depends on the study centre and faculty availability. Evaluation at IGNOU is a mix of assignments and term-end examinations, which encourages continuous learning but sometimes suffers from delays in result declaration and administrative inefficiencies. While IGNOU may not offer the intense classroom interaction of regular universities, its academic framework is reliable and inclusive. Overall, IGNOU academics suit self-disciplined students who value flexibility over conventional college teaching.

      Placements

Placements at IGNOU are quite different from those at regular, full-time universities. Since IGNOU is primarily a distance-learning institution, it does not guarantee campus placements for most programmes. The university has a Campus Placement Cell (CPC) that occasionally organises job fairs, placement drives, and career counselling sessions, mainly at the New Delhi headquarters. These opportunities are usually more relevant for professional and management-related courses than for general degree programmes. For many students, placements depend largely on individual effort rather than institutional support. IGNOU’s degrees are recognised and valued, but employers often focus more on skills, experience, and practical exposure. As a result, working professionals who use IGNOU to upskill or earn an additional qualification tend to benefit more than freshers expecting structured placement support. Some programmes like MBA, MCA, and specialised diplomas may see limited placement assistance, but the number of recruiters and salary packages remain modest compared to regular universities. IGNOU encourages self-employment, entrepreneurship, and skill development through add-on courses, but the placement ecosystem is not its core strength. Overall, IGNOU placements are best seen as supplementary support rather than a guaranteed pathway to jobs, making the university more suitable for self-driven and career-focused learners.

      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is excellent as of my personal experience I do noticed some lack of facilities but overall it's good at it pace and I like the systematic manner and the buildings are well structured in short it's a nice place

      Academics

Academics are average I would say I do get so late response from facilities and sometimes it confusing for me like alot . Ijust hope for it get better by time I really appreciate some of the teachers for helping me out

      Placements

Placement are i don't have much knowledge about it I neither asked anyone and some says it good some day it bad it's really in between debate but I don't think there any good placement you really have to work for yourself

      Value for Money

It is value for money it's the last resort for most of kids and at this value we get so many facilities so yes it is value for money if you are in need to find a college as soon as possible you can check for it

      Campus Life

It is good I met some time of the awesome people around and got to know them they helped me in solving some of my academics problem and gave guidance the atmosphere is good but not always it really depends on who you are involving with

It's amazing university if you can't join college regular

      College Infrastructure

ignou use other university and college as there study. They select college as per they norms some time they are amazing but some study center have lack of infrastructure. But not avaible Any wifi or digital board

      Academics

Most of Time faculty of Study center behavior is good and friendly. Also they are guide or instructor only still they help a lot but from regional center they is lack contact that's why education become hard

      Placements

You have to find placement on your own basis because it is open university that's why no placement here and still it's hard to find placement because you are distance student and company don't give you chances

      Value for Money

Value and cost of course are quite high I think because here is distance education and still there is course book and examination fee separate but still on that's fee they provide good education in distance medium

      Campus Life

It's Distance education hence there is no regular Cumpus but still on Sunday there are guiding session that's are amazing very helpful too and about Cumpus it's very good and there is no raging in student and you'll miss regular Cumpus
