The college has smart classrooms, modern labs, digital library, good Wi-Fi, clean hostels, sports grounds, and a green campus. All basic facilities are available for a smooth student experience. The positivity it brings is also amazing.
Teachers are helpful and explain topics clearly. The syllabus is well-covered, and regular tests keep us prepared. Notes and study materials are also provided. Overall, academics are strong and supportive.
The placement cell is active and supportive. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year. Students get proper training, mock interviews, and internship support. Most students get placed with good salary packages based on their skills and performance.
The college offers good facilities, quality teaching, and placement support at a reasonable fee. Overall, it feels worth the money spent on education and campus life.
Campus life is lively and fun with fests, events, clubs, and friendly students. The environment is safe and supportive, making every day enjoyable and full of new experiences.
IGNOU is a distance learning university, which means you won’t experience regular college campus life like at other universities. However, they do have regional and study centers where you can attend classes occasionally. The online portal provides most resources, including books, assignments, and exam details. The study material is good, and they even send books to your home. However, sometimes the information isn’t clear, such as dates for assignments, hall tickets, or exam centers. You need to keep checking their website or contact the study center for updates.
The course is organized well, and the books are simple to understand, particularly for those studying independently. Assignments are required and help you stay engaged with the subjects. Support classes are available at the centers, but they are not very frequent. Most of the time, you'll need to handle things on your own, so if you need constant guidance, it may feel overwhelming at the beginning.
IGNOU doesn’t hold regular placement drives like other colleges. However, they have a placement cell that occasionally shares job opportunities. Most students find internships or jobs on their own. If you’re preparing for government exams or working on other projects at the same time, it can be very effective.
Yes, absolutely. The fees are much lower than those at other universities, and you still receive good material. It’s a solid choice if you want something affordable and flexible.
There’s no campus life since it’s distance learning. However, the flexibility is the best part. You can study anytime and anywhere. You can also manage other work or goals in your life.
IGNOU is a good choice for students who want flexibility. The study material is excellent and budget-friendly. However, there can be a lack of clear communication, especially regarding exam or assignment updates. You need to stay vigilant and check everything on your own. It’s ideal for self-motivated learners.
Our regional campus is located in Dehradun. The campus is small but beautiful. We have limited facilities as the college is distance learning mode where there is flexibility with the college attendance. The college also offer digital resources to all students.
The professors are so good and supportive for students. They helped the students actively with the assignments and notes. They are so friendly with the students and try to help students with their other commitments as well.
As the college is open university. We have no formal placement facilities, But college compensate the placement with the academic as we have the digital resources access. Students can go for off campus placement opportunity if they want.
IGNOU's student portal is smooth, and you can see learning materials, upload assignments, and go through online sessions.but somewhere it lacks in face to face kind of conversation and that feel is missing.
The teachers are nice and experienced, but being distance education, there is not much student-faculty interaction. But the syllabus is rightly chalked out and as per UGC guidelines, theoretical and practical courses related to commerce are learned.
IGNOU conducts career guidance programs and online job fairs occasionally. A few students manage to get internship opportunities or entry-level roles at startups like FinoraEdge Solutions, ZedPro Accounts, and LedgerWise Pvt. Ltd.
The college campus is so pretty with full of greenery. The college offer distance learning but inspite of it the physical infrastructure of college is full of facilities like Library, Academic blocks, Computer laboratories and gardens.
The college provide the best digital resources to the students for understanding the concepts easily. The professors are also so flexible in term of assignments and projects submission deadline. They also support students for preparation of their other exams.
The college don’t focus on providing placement through campus. Most of the students joined college to do their graduation with flexible schedule. So either students go for off campus jobs or do their government exams preparation with the college.
Even though it is a distance learning university, IGNOU has well-furnished regional and study centers. Library facilities are specially great – they have a huge collection of academic books, reference books, and journals. There is Wi-Fi in a few of the centers, and a hygienic cafeteria for students who are on campus for extended periods.
Study materials are well prepared and written by experienced professors of reputable universities. Although this is a distance mode course, tele-sessions and contact classes are quite supportive. Teachers during counseling sessions and workshops are highly learned and accessible.
Placements are not a big component of the MA English programme at IGNOU. Since it is an open university, students are expected to find job opportunities independently. The programme is somewhat more scholarly in nature, targeting those who have an interest in teaching, research, content writing, publishing or civil service preparation.
My study center is muralidhar college which is pretty decent college. the college staff was very rude ever since i been there for the first time they were very rude even changed some rules related to studies which they were not meant to.
The only teacher's class we attended was nice. She taught us biopsychology for one week the classes were nice and understandable, but on the other side the college staffs were rude so were the teachers.
Placements should be good enough as we are expecting .The degree is quite good a long time taking path but should be worth it. Even though I've different plans i gave NEET this year so as part time study tis university is good
It is an open university so we don't have ani specific building as our college. but the study center where we are elected to was nice. The faculty was nice too. clean classrooms, good professors and staff.
Good experience, the elected teach was great. Our faculty professor taught us nicely in the online classes prepared by the RC kolkata. The staff there in the Rc was also very kind and helpful by nature.
Good placements, the subject i am studying is psychology major so overall a long journey but good career path. IGNOU's syllabus is hard to study but it is useful cause they teach us a lot of extra thing which will be important and easy to learn by studying here.
My study center is bagbazar women's college which is pretty decent. Our regional center is bikash bhavan kolkata, the staff was good there. otherwise there is no specific college of ignou so there is no description i can write about the structure.
We didn't had many classes to attend, classes are irregular. we get the notifications and meeting links through email or from the official website of rc kolkata ignou about what gonna happen. syllabus is pretty tough to study too. It is very tough to get good score in ignou
The question about the placement is interesting cause as we all know most of the time people don't hire or doubt a open university student which is valid at some point. If you are willing to work hard and be serious about what you doing then it is not that hard to get good placements.
They charged me 6000 for one year and 2600 for exam it is on a premium cost side.
The ignou primarily operates the three tier system the university headquarters in new delhi regional centers and learner support centres across the india this college has the regional central library also.
