The Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi has a separate placement cell known as the Campus Placement Cell (CPC). The main objective of the IGNOU placement cell is to provide students with placement opportunities matching their personal and academic profiles.

The IGNOU placement cell organises training and grooming sessions for the students to enhance their skills and confidence by conducting seminars, webinars, industry talks, interactive sessions, group discussions, and many other activities. The campus placement cell at IGNOU New Delhi invites the top recruiters for a placement drive programme. The IGNOU placements are offered to all deserving candidates.

IGNOU Placement Procedure

Students who are interested must register with the IGNOU New Delhi placement department.
Recruiters will conduct the pre-placement talk highlighting company profile, job requirements, CTC and many others.
Interested candidates should send their resumes to the placement cell.
Students begin training for the IGNOU New Delhi placement drive.
The hiring procedure begins.
As part of the IGNOU placement process, companies conduct several assessments including written tests, group discussions, and interviews by panel.

Placement at IGNOU is very easy, as the criteria for pursuing a course are very low. All the packages offered in my course are the same, be it ODL or physically attending the class. No such internships are offered; if you are an exceptional student, you may get one or two but it's not confirmed.

What is the eligibility criteria for bba course in IGNOU after 12 commerce?

The School of Management Studies at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers a three-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme at the undergraduate level. To get admission to the BBA at IGNOU, candidates are required to pass the Class 12 or equivalent level examination from a recognised Board/ Institution. The BBA programme is a broad-based programme with a mix of multidisciplinary and skill based courses. The BBA programme at IGNOU is offered with the provision of multiple entry and exit options.

The university also offers BBA in Retailing and BBA in Service Management . The eligibility criteria for both specialisations are mentioned below:

BBA Retailing : Category A– Direct entry

Class 12 or equivalent examination based on merit of physically fit candidates.
There will be a personal interview at the regional center prior to selection of candidates.

Category B – Sponsored Admission
The sponsor is allowed to nominate employees, who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination, from their retail organisation.

BBA Service Management: Candidates should have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised institution, and must have passed the entrance examination conducted for this programme. They must be working or willing to work in services industry as a full-time Intern/ Apprentice/ Employee.

my ignou bca(old) course is expired and bca (new) is here. Can i in 2024 do 'internal credit transfer' and finish my degree now?

IGNOU allowed their students to transfer internal credit if someone course gets expired you just need to contact your regional center and submit the necessary documents to initiate the credit transfer process.

After completing the process your credit gets transfer from your expired IGNOU BCA (old) course to the new BCA course in this way you can finish your degree by new one.

Hello!

Yes, you can surely do M.Sc in Bioinformatics from DU after doing B. Sc from IGNOU. Many colleges and universities in India are accepting IGNOU degree.

You must have completed your graduation to get admission in any PG course.
