About Sarala Birla University, Ranchi

Sarala Birla University is a private university located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. Established in 2017, the university has been created with the aim of providing quality education in various fields, including technical, professional, general, medicine, nursing, public health, clinical technology, legal studies, and humanities and linguistics. The Sarala Birla University Act 2017 was passed by the Legislative Assembly of Jharkhand, and as per the Act, the university is managed by a Board of Governors. The university is located on a sprawling campus amidst verdant surroundings, stretching over nearly 60 acres of land owned by Bharat Arogya & Gyan Mandir at Birla Campus.

The university aims to be a global leader in the field of education by creating a knowledge economy that integrates academia and industry to nurture leaders who are creative, enlightened, dynamic, and closely connected to their roots. The university's objective is to promote national integrity, social justice, secularism, democratic ways of life, international understanding, and a scientific approach to the problems of society as a whole.The university has six faculties including Engineering and Computer Sciences, Commerce and Business Management, Humanities and Linguistics, Nursing, Public Health and Clinical Technology, Pharmacy and Legal Studies. Each faculty is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skill sets required in their respective fields.

Sarala Birla University (SBU) offers scholarships to eligible students to help them with their tuition fees. These scholarships are available to students of Sarala Birla University Ranchi who meet specific criteria and provide valid proof of their eligibility at the time of counselling. The scholarships are offered in various categories, including scholarships for children and grandchildren of freedom fighters, children of armed forces personnel, and differently-abled students. Students who were previously enrolled at Sarala Birla Public School are also eligible for scholarship benefits. The scholarship amount ranges from 10% to 25% of the tuition fee, depending on the category and criteria.

In addition to the above scholarships, SBU also offers merit-based scholarships to students who have achieved exceptional academic performance in their qualifying examination and personal interview. The scholarship amount varies from 10% to 50% of the tuition fee, depending on the percentage of marks obtained. The scholarship is applicable for the first two semesters and is subject to verification of original documents at the time of counselling.
For students enrolling in the B.Tech EEE and ECE programs, a merit scholarship of 50% on the tuition fee is available. This scholarship is subject to the same terms and conditions as the other scholarships mentioned above.
SBU also offers internal scholarships to students who perform exceptionally well in their semester examinations. The scholarship is available to the top 20% of students and ranges from 10% to 25% of the tuition fee, depending on the ranking. This scholarship is applicable for one consecutive semester and is subject to the same terms and conditions as the other scholarships.

College has best infrastructure in the town with all the facilities which includes library sports center hostel and huge mess to sit and eat delicious food with great quality and hygienic and best place in the college

College Infrastructure

Yes, college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Projector classrooms, laboratories with all equipment etc. All the campus, classroom are well maintained neat and clean. The canteen foods are well prepared with proper maintaining hygienic conditions.

Here my experience is average. Teachers are good.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good. Here the environment is very good...all kinds of sports and games are happen. Support staff and security is also good. A big ground and a park is available for students.

please tell that can I get a good gov.college for admission in b tech I have scored 91.8 percent in 2020 12th board and 71.56 percentile in 2021 jee mains

It is very difficult to predict the actual jee mains rank from your percentile as it varies on several parameters like number of students appeared for exam,how tough the paper was along with how many seats are available in different universities and performance of candidates appeared. Based on previous few years trends and cutoff your predicted rank should be around 290941 to 327060. Based on this rank getting government colleges will be difficult but the government colleges you may get are

is there the hostel for girls in the campus

Hello aspirant!!

Don't worry. All the colleges will be having separate boys and girls hostels and warden will be in duty. But the government college hostel is not much safer than the private colleges. Since they will not be good maintenance and the register will not be followed and it is strictly followed in private colleges.
