Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital Nagpur(IGGMCH) was established in 1905 under the Government of Maharashtra. All the courses are approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The college offered admission to MBBS programmes with a capacity of 200 seats for the year 2019-2020. The college also offers other postgraduate and diploma programmes in various disciplines. IGGMC nagpur is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The college offers admission to various programmes on the basis of NEET scores.

Candidates will register themselves for counselling of NEET (UG) on the official website of NEET along with all required documents and payment of fees.

Candidates will get admission to the MBBS programme based on NEET (UG) counselling, choice filling, choice locking, document verification, merit and fee payment.

Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur provides certain facilities to the students and staff including library, laboratories, sports facility, hostel, lecture theatre, auditorium etc. Detailed description on the facilities are mentioned below.
Library- The library of Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur has a huge collection of 10199 textbooks, 4960 reference books, 123 journals including national and foreign. Other services like photocopying facility, internet facilities etc are also provided inside the library. The library also has a reading room which lets students and staff read and refer to books in a peaceful environment. The library remains open on all working days from 10 am to 5.45 pm.
Laboratories- All the laboratories of Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur are provided with advanced technology equipment to meet the requirements of students. All the practicals and experiments are carried out inside these labs. Different departments have different labs provided to conduct experiments.
Sports Facility- IGGMC provides sports facility for students who are interested to develop their extra curricular skills in sports. Different sports are played inside the campus including outdoor games like volleyball and indoor games like table tennis and carrom etc.
Hostel- Separate accommodation is provided to girls and boys in different hostels. All the hostels have wardens to maintain the rules and regulations inside the hostels. Other facilities like reading room, recreation room, gym, computer room, canteen etc are also provided inside the hostels. The hostels also have a mess facility of their own which serves quality and hygienic food to students.
Lecture Theatre- There are 7 lecture theatres provided inside the campus of Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur out of which 5 are gallery type and 2 are level type. All the lecture sessions and meetings are conducted inside the lecture theatres which are well equipped with audio and visual facilities.
- Auditorium- The auditorium of IGGMC Nagpur is well equipped with modern technology and advanced audio and video facilities where all important conferences and events are conducted.

Well it is decent there and as the course itself is of general surgery then it is mandatory that the student need to learn all the surgical techniques and everything. So the influx is also okay and the practice is available under decent faculty members.

All india quota obc neet score for this college???
Aman, in 2018 under All India Quota, a score between 552 and 432 secured a seat in OBC Category in GMC, Nagpur. Now this is 2018 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. But in 2019, the individual college cut offs increased on an average by 60-75 marks. So if you want a seat in this College, you should aim for nothing less than 600.
