the school of open learning,DU,offers essential facilities like a well-stocked library and basic classrooms. while digital infrastructure is improving, maintainance and modern updates are still needed.
SOL, DU, focuses on flexible learning with self-study materials and periodic contact classes. While practical for working students, the curriculum needs updates to stay industry-relevant and job-oriented.
SOL, DU, has a placement cell established in 2018. While opportunities are limited, companies like flipkart and infosys have recruited students. Average packages range from INR5-8 LPA, with scope for improvement
not at all
0 campus life
not at all
The school of open learning offers basic infrast With limited facilities. classrooms and study centres are functional but need upgrades. Library and online resources help, but campus lacks modern amenities
The school of open learning provides flexible academic programs with Delhi university affiliated courses. Study material is decent but interactive learning is limited. Online resources help but faculty engagement needs improvement.
School of open leaning has limited placement support. Unlike regular Delhi university colleges it lacks a dedicated placement cell. Most student rely on self driven jobs searches or external career opportunities
Not value for money
There is no campus life because you only visited once a week.
Infrastructure is really nice and being helpful for students .infrastructure is really nice and being helpful for students to coordinate with faculties and dissolve their queries and it will also boost self confidence among students.
A curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field also makes the study little bit radical but as per the nep ,a students will gain more confidence and will learn more things.
placements are necessary and a core part of the college life and also the University of Delhi has a strong connections which help the students to interact with industry experts, and to learn and earn simultaneously.
Really good colleges are clean and they also provide water in exam halls also colleges are hygienic also there are trees and garden which really makes mood and vibe to study pescefully also they do really good activities
Really good and teachers also help in our studies and after classes also there teaching methods are also good its really helps us to understand the subject and books are also provided by them on time
There are companies for jobs and teachers also help in interviews they will guide you and there are really good opportunities in jobs also you can find jobs on your own if you want to but yes college placement are fine also
Really good i mean its an open school so yeah value for money is good
Really good
The college has all the basic facilities like classrooms, a library, and labs, but some areas need improvement. The Wi-Fi isn’t always reliable, and the campus could use more modern upgrades like smart classrooms and better sports facilities.
The academics are decent, but there’s room for improvement. Some professors are really knowledgeable and helpful, while others just stick to theory without much practical application. The syllabus covers the basics well, but it sometimes feels outdated compared to industry standards.
Placements are so much poor, and most students have to look for jobs on their own. Only a few well-known companies visit the campus, and the job offers are mostly for low-paying roles. Some students manage to get decent placements, but it's usually through personal efforts or off-campus drives.
The fees feel too high compared to what the college actually offers. The infrastructure is average, placements aren’t great, and the quality of education doesn’t fully justify the cost.
There's no campus life in open learning
Good for those who are preparing for CA or CS
Nice infrastructure and great for college student and keeping the overall nice environment and making it cooperative for overall community so that every student can actively participate and engage in overall environment.
The curriculum is overall necessary for understanding of students so that they can learn and lead a holistic development for their future and also university faculty are also supportive and answering overall queries.
Nice placement and leading to overall development and taking it to nice environment and making it a nice place to study and also community lead by them is also keen to take part in industry roles and activity.
Nice environment
Not may be considered as a high quality infrastructure and a lot of scope and improvement is required. It does have all thr necessary infrastructure , facility and equipment. Living space is clean and higienic
Access to a reputable institution , and provide a great flexibility for study. Limited class room engagement and faculty engagement . It is good for study balancing work and education together. Reliance on self study make it less prefarable
There is minimal placement support and student needs to actively seeks jobs. It may be seen as less prestigious as compared to other delhi university by the employers. Lack of interaction makes it difficulty to interact.
DUSOL is a good option for students who want the flexibility to study while pursuing job competitive exams or other interests since it's a part of Delhi University the degree hold value and recognition which is a big plus.limited campus life unlike regular DU college minimal classroom interaction only occasional contact classes so self study is key
Limited interaction unlike regular DU college where students engage with professor daily DUSOL offers contact classes on weekends or specific day oneline learning some lectures and study materials are available online professor provide guidance through occasional session students need to proactive in seeking help
Company rarely visit DUSOL for campus placement students must apply independently for jobs internships or competitive exam's students can acces DU placement cell which conduct job fairs and recruitment drives however regular DU students get priority
The infrastructure of college is very good the campus is very huge and they have all the facilities and laboratories and libraries as well with good stuff for studying They do have the gardens in between which makes a border more beautiful
I have done BA from there and the quality of studying and giving the education is very good the professors are very much educated they give the concept planning to the students as well All the professors of that college are very much supportive
The placement of that college is Not good because this college is affiliated to Delhi university And it is for those students only who are preparing for some competitive exams or doing job to uptend degree
SOL have good infrastructure. It have all the equipments and facilities required for smooth functioning of the classrooms. Includes wifi, laboratories and hotels. Well maintained, cleaned area good food and hygenic food
Teaching quality is normal. Curriculum was updated with all the recent developments but not makes you job ready. Economics, Financial reporting, taxation, cost accounting. Covers al the real life topics
For better placement offer, try to get from outside the college. Placement is not good. Try to get from the off campus. Try to do certification course so that you get good job. Job market is not good.
Not that costly
Average
Hello,
Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get in both the Universities in regular mode then it is not possible.
Also, there are a lot of universities who are not yet accepting the dual degree policy. They may accept it from a year or so as it was released this year. So you should get in contact with the college to know more about it.
I hope this helps,
All the best
yes , you get admission in B com in any university or college
