Prof. Dinesh Khattar of KMC has been honoured with 2 Awards of Honour at 1st National Achievers Award 2025.
The Commerce Society of KMC Delhi to host Advent'25 on November 17, 2025.
The facilities are decent. Our classrooms are well-ventilated, the language labs are in good condition, and we have a calm academic environment for reading and writing. Wi-Fi is available for study-related material. The canteen food is hygienic and affordable for daily meals.
Our English department is blessed with senior professors having decades of experience in literature, criticism, and academic research. Along with them, the department also comprises faculty members who are not only writers but also scholars in their respective fields. They are qualified, down-to-earth, and have a deep command of the subject.
There are no placement opportunities for students of BA English. Generally, companies do not recruit from the field of literature, so most of us concentrate on higher studies, competitive exams, or our skill development.
I like the main building of my college and the way greenery id everywhere but like some areas..are still improving like the classes and stuff. The classrooms can be improved, get painted and become well maintained.
Most of the professors in our college are really great and have a really good degree in their own fields.. however some professors got language barrier and stuff like that so its kinda difficult to understand.
Being from a course like bachelors in chemistry.. i dont think there are any good placements for it but however if we consider other departments like commerce and arts.. placements are pretty fine and nice.
My college fees is really less. Its hardly any money coz its a govt college. My school’s per month fees was more than my college’s annual fees. So, overall its value for money for sure. Its worth it.
My college lies in north campus and the vibe of it is really serene and majestic. I love how people here are. So much greenery everywhere. Love it.
No thanks
College has a good infrastructure has many facilities, there are different labs assigned for various departments, college has a huge library with a lot of course books, food of college canteen is hygienic and also water coolers are installed in the campus
College has a good reputation and a well known alumni record, professors teach well, regular tests and assessment are taken for IA evaluation, regular lab classes are taken by professors and along with academics students can easily manage ECA
College has a good placement record, majority of students who complete their graduation are placed well, college conducts regular placement fairs and internship drives which help students to get good placements
Yes this college is value for money. As compared toh other pvt clgs fees is less and it is worth it
You can expect a good and vibrant campus life.
College infrastructure is good but can be a little better. The benches are not of good quality and the building is also a bit old. Overall the lab, library, classes, are good and has necessary items with good internet quality.
I am studying b.com and the faculty of the commerce department is good. The teachers are very understanding and the method of teaching is very nice. The curriculum is up to date and the teachers attract students with their method of study.
The overall placements of this college is good. I am not aware of other departments, but the commerce department of our college helps the students to get good placements and the college plays a very supportive role in interviewing students and preparing them for their future.
I feel that the college is worth of the money it demands as it offers good education worth the money.
It has good campus life.
The College Infrastructure is really good. The building with red bricks feels like a old monument structure which is beautiful. And have all the facilities for the students. It also has sports facilities.
The Kirori Mal College is one of the Prestigious College in DU as it is a North Campus College. This College is also known for it's academic excellence and have good teachers. The Quality of teaching is also great.
As it is north campus College of DU. It has very good placements among the Various North Campus Colleges. The Big Companies such As Big 4s has came for placements which is dream job of every commerce student.
As it is North Campus college and has academic excellence it is value for money college obviously. The cost per year for such college is approx 20000 INR. It has all the facilities, societies to participate etc.
The Campus life in Kirori Mal is Amazing. You will never get regretted for joining this college. If you get this college go for it. I has amazing Infrastructure same as SRCC and other north campus colleges.
Kirori mal college has the best infrastructure in delho univeristy. The liberary is fully airconditioned and has all the books available for each course. Stationary shop is available inside the college as well. The building is also clean everytime.
Kirori mal college of delhi university is known for its academics and studies. The faculty is taleneted and academic centred. The proffessors completes its syllabus on time and also provide notes as well for free.
Kirori mal college provides good placement opportunities to all the students of each year to sit and the interview and secure internships and placements every year. The placement cell is active and provides information about the vacancies every week.

Kirorimal college is on of the best college in north cakpus of delhi university. The college infrastructure is clean and well maintained. The authority takes care of the hygiene in the college. The cafeteria is newly renovated as well. The classes are clean and furnitures are also recenetly replaced.

Yes this college is highly value for money
Campus is big and teachers are friendly. Campus life is good with friends.
Being honest, the infrastructure of the college is really old and weak. Just a few weeks back, a shelf in the science block fell down on a student which was horrific and unpredictable. I hope they work upon it.
The professors here are great and understand problems faced by the students. They are open to talk to and we can even share our personal issues with them, they will help regardless. Great exposure to subjects.
Since I'm from Science background, placements here are not worth it, they are usually around 2-3 Lacks per annum which is quite less, although for commerce background, packages are upto 9 lacks per annum.
The college is absolutely value of money, my fees is only around 16,000 per year which is quite less as some colleges demand for lacks of money per semester, so I would say the college is definitely worth of its money.
Kirori Mal College stands out for its mix of historical charm and contemporary upgrades. The central courtyard, lush gardens, and open-air theatre give it a classic Delhi University feel, while its new science blocks, digital classrooms, and Wi-Fi-enabled areas keep it modern. The canteen is famous among students for affordable and diverse food options. The sports complex and gym are well-equipped, and the college has an active eco-club maintaining cleanliness and greenery.
KMC’s academics are deeply interdisciplinary. Beyond regular lectures, students get exposure to guest talks from industry leaders, research internships, and inter-departmental projects. Professors emphasize analytical thinking, public speaking, and collaborative learning rather than rote memorization. The literature, political science, and physics departments are particularly well-known for their innovative teaching methods. Students also get guidance for UPSC, CAT, and other competitive exams informally from faculty and alumni.
Unlike many DU colleges, KMC’s placement cell focuses equally on placements and internships. Recruiters include global consulting firms, NGOs, publishing houses, IT firms, and even creative agencies. Commerce and economics students typically get the highest packages, while arts and science students receive a steady stream of internships, fellowships, and research assistant positions. Alumni regularly return to campus to mentor students and conduct workshops on employability skills.
With an annual fee less than what many private institutions charge per month, KMC offers an unmatched return on investment. Students benefit from high-quality infrastructure, mentorship, networking, and exposure without financial stress. The college also actively helps students with scholarships, discounted study materials, and free participation in cultural events.
KMC is famously referred to as the “cultural powerhouse” of Delhi University. The dramatics society “The Players” is the birthplace of several celebrated Bollywood actors and directors. Music, dance, debating, and filmmaking societies are equally active. The annual fest “Renaissance” attracts colleges from all over India, and informal activities like open mics, slam poetry, and film screenings make every week on campus exciting. Students describe the campus vibe as inclusive, creative, and full of opportunity.
KMC’s infrastructure is very student-friendly. The canteen is large and affordable, offering good quality food. Classrooms are modern, with projectors and audio systems. The auditorium is one of the finest in DU, often used for theatre and film festivals. Hostel capacity is limited but well-maintained. The campus Wi-Fi and IT infrastructure are also well developed.
Academic standards are consistently high. Professors push students to think critically and research independently. There are academic mentorship programs that help new students adjust. Courses are well-structured, and elective options give students flexibility. Many professors are authors of books or have international research publications, which adds to the academic weight of the college.
Placement is good across commerce and science departments. Many students get jobs in consulting, banking, and finance with good packages. Arts and humanities students often choose further studies, but NGOs and publishing houses do visit for recruitment. Alumni from theatre and arts backgrounds have achieved fame in Bollywood and media.
Education at KMC is almost free compared to private institutions. Students only need to spend a small amount on fees but receive massive returns in the form of education, career exposure, and networking opportunities.
KMC’s cultural life is unmatched. Its dramatics society is considered the best in DU, producing artists who have become famous actors and directors. From debates, dance competitions, and film festivals to the annual fest “Renaissance,” the campus is always buzzing with life.
The candidates need to secure more than 720 out of 800 in CUET ug for KMC college. For obc candidates in this score the available options are KMC, Ramjas, DRC & Venky.
If you want to get top colleges of DU LIKE Hindu ,Stephens & LSR the cut off is expected to be 740+ For the candidates who belongs to OBC category
Colleges like miranda, Hansraj has lower cutoff among all.
For obc categories 720+ is enough for most of North campus colleges.
