Students attend classes on Saturdays and Sundays, which helps those who have other commitments during the week. Study material is available both online and in print. The system runs smoothly, and updates such as exam schedules, admit cards, and assignments are shared promptly through the website or student dashboard.
The course content meets the regular standards of Delhi University. Political Science is presented clearly and simply in the books. Weekend classes take place at study centers, where teachers cover important topics. Students can also ask questions during these sessions. This approach works well for students who like flexible learning but still want some interaction in the classroom.
DU SOL has a dedicated Placement Cell. While placement opportunities are not the same as those at regular colleges, there are still some good options available. Reports show that the highest package reached INR 30 LPA, and the average is around INR 8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Flipkart have recruited from SOL in the past. This setup is ideal for students who want to prepare for government exams or work part-time while studying.
Definitely yes. The course is very affordable. You still get a valid DU degree. It's a great option for students who want to study without spending to much money

Since this is a distance education model, there isn't daily campus life like festivals or a regular college routine. However, weekend classes and doubt sessions offer plenty of interaction. The flexibility also helps students manage their studies alongside jobs or other responsibilities.
I am pursuing a B.A. in Political Science from DU SOL. The course is organized well, and classes take place on Saturdays and Sundays, which is very convenient. The study materials are clear and provided on time. The placement cell is active, and some good companies hire from SOL. It's a great choice for those who want flexible learning along with a DU degree.
I have been taking my classes since 2 years and the main issue I have faced is getting my books from the college because there is a lot of rush of students. Other than that there are issues with the date of sheet that they provide is very late sometimes. Other than that. Clearly everything is good especially for those students who want to go for distance learning.
I am studying the political honours and I have not really attended any classes from the college which they provide on Saturday and Sunday sometimes. But whatever I have heard from other students it's not something I would enjoy especially with so many students.
Well, they do not offer any placements as far I know..but even if they were I wouldn't be part of that. Because I already have something else is going on. That is just a back up option. I am not at all interested in their placement options even if they were offering one.
If u want to go for distance learning where you do not want to attend any regular classes and just write exams and get degree at the end of your cource. This is one of the best options.
There is no campus life. Do they even have any campus?
Delhi's colleges are having good infrastructure. They have proper ventilation and some are air conditioned though. But I would like to add that it needs better care and development for further students.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and consistency of students lead them to achieve in their academic. The college actively participates in class discussions and contributes to valuable future for their students
I don't know much about placements of Delhi University. But I can definitely say one thing about that Delhi University is wherever they will provide placement it will be awesome and fit for our needs .
Yes the freshers can join the delhi University for the under graduate program.
The college infrastructure is not that great but the facilities provided by the college are fine and yes there is laboratory, library and digital classrooms in the college and the places washrooms of the college the always clean and hygienic
I have choosen BA program with political science and the teaching faculty is really good and are always helpful and also really understand and all the classes happens on a regular basis and also includes the recent development
The placement in my college is not guaranteed for the students but students still get placements from the college I am not very aware about the sallary but I would say the placement criteria about the college is not so good
I am paying ten thousand per year for my college program and it's worth it
The campus life is average and not that great
The college infrastructure is mediocre but all the facilities are being provided to the students also proper care is taken of the cleanliness and hygiene. Yes, laboratories, libarary and digital classrooms are there.
I am studying BA program with political science and the teaching faculty is really good they are always ready to help you and are very understanding also the classes happens on a regular basis and it includes recent development in the field
The surety for the placements in the college is not there but yeah students do get placements from the college but it depends and it's also not guaranteed so I would the chances for the placements are not really high
My course cost 10000 per year and yeah it's worth the money
Personally the Campus life is not that great it still needs to enhance
The library is great with plenty of books and study materials, and there are decent places for group study and student activities. But there are still some areas that require improvement. For instance, Wi-Fi very rarely works appropriately, and then it is the source of tension when you desperately need it to do your assignment or online lectures. Furthermore, in summers, the lack of cold drinking water throughout the entire campus is also a grave problem that should be resolved.
The lecturers are well-qualified, seasoned, and truly care about the development of students. They clarify concepts well and are quite accessible outside the classroom, too. Most of them utilize real-life examples, recent case studies, and foster class discussions, which enriches the learning process.
Certain big companies may come to campus, and few students do pick up decent posts, generally related to finance, marketing, or operations. Nonetheless, much remains contingent on hard work, internship, and complementary courses such as CA, CFA, or MBA. The placement cell is helpful and gives opportunities from time to time, but the competition is tough, and only a few students get placed with good packages.

If you're doing professional course, then it is beneficial. Otherwise a big no.
There is no campus.
The infrastructure of the campus of the university is not much better it needs improvement which will over all benefit the students and enhancement of the infrastructure will also improve the reputation of the campus.
The academics which includes all the curriculum is nice and the faculty are also supportive but it only includes that theoretical aspects in the syllabus it should also includes some practical components like internships or projects.
The placement cell is not very active the members are not upgraded as per the relevant skills required in the industry they should conduct more and more workshops and sessions to keep the students where and make them industry standard heading towards future.
Good
Hello,
Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get in both the Universities in regular mode then it is not possible.
Also, there are a lot of universities who are not yet accepting the dual degree policy. They may accept it from a year or so as it was released this year. So you should get in contact with the college to know more about it.
I hope this helps,
All the best
yes , you get admission in B com in any university or college
