    The Srinivas School of Engineering, Mangalore (SSE), is a reputed institution in Karnataka that imparts engineering education. The admission process at SSE is an exercise to sift through the eligible candidates for the different engineering programs run by the institute. Hence, by using the marks obtained in nationally recognized entrance examinations, the institute maintains a fair and competitive selection process. SSE recognizes two types of potentially major entrances for the purpose of admission: Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) and Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). These exams stand to testify whether the candidate is fit or ranked for getting an admission into the engineering courses offered by SSE.

    The conduct of COMEDK UGET is set for May 10, 2025. This major online examination serves as the basic regime for allotting seats to private engineering colleges in Karnataka blocks, inclusive of SSE. Therefore, applicants must prepare well for this examination, which is an essential part of the admission process. KCET is generally conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to various professional courses in the state. Eligibility criteria generally include the completion of 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Also, the candidates will have to meet the minimum percentage requirements of the relevant bodies and the institute.

    Application Process
