Ranking Methodology: The colleges are ranked as per the cumulative score that they have received. The college that has got the maximum cumulative score will be ranked first while the college that has got least cumulative score will be ranked last.
The college has three in-campus hostels with a capacity of 1200 inmates. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished and duly maintained. Mess facility is provided for students. Hygienic vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods are provided to the students at a nominal rate. An incoming telephone facility is provided for the hostel. There is a small library inside the hostel and is attached to a common room with TV facility. All the hostels have Wi-Fi coverage with a small computer room with internet connection. Hostel is provided with first aid kits and general medicines to take care of simple illness. A consulting room is available in the hostel. The college vehicle has been engaged to shift the sick to nearby hospitals in case of emergency. One pharmacist is always there to ensure the medical facilities of students. Furthermore, the hostellers have access to the Central Library in the campus. The hostel is having a recreation hall which acts as a common room for the students with facilities for indoor games. Several newspapers and magazines are subscribed to the hostels. Audiovisual facilities are also provided in the hall through television and audio systems. On the innovative front, Institute is planning to set up a rooftop solar system in hostels to provide warm water, to be used for various purposes.

From the session 2014-2015, the College has placed a doctor’s chamber on the ground floor of Administrative Block. Twice a week, the College is visited by a medicine specialist and a lady doctor to take care of the health issues pertaining to students and staffs. The college management recommends a health checkup for all the hostel inmates regularly. In emergency health-related issues, the student is directed to Speciality and Super-Speciality hospitals of the City including KIIMS, Kalinga Hospitals, CARE Hospitals, AYUSH Hospitals, Kar Clinic, etc. The cost of the treatment is borne by the student/parents, but the immediate costs incurred are managed by the college.
The college has a central library with all modern facilities. The library has 60000 book volumes, 274 e-journals, 275 science direct, and 25 IEEE articles. The library also provides an e-learning facility, digital library, reading room, and reference section. All the library operations have been computerized. Computerized Library Management includes search, indexing, issue/return records. Bar-coding of records is common and all book volumes are managed through bar-code readers. An in-house developed Library Management Package manages the indexing, issue, and returns records of books and journals. The library services of the institution are managed through the college intranet e-governance. Through the intranet, the students and faculties can access digital resources from institution library server. A scaling-up of the services to be accessed through the internet is in full swing.
The college has sports facilities for all students
The college is equipped with good computing facilities including State-of-the-art computer laboratories, a campus-wide Local Area Network (LAN) and a wireless network backbone of 280 Mbps (1:1). The college has 600 systems with a computer student ratio of 1:4 for UG and 1:1 for PG with dedicated internet facility. The college website ‘www.trident.ac.in’ is dynamic and has been designed by the resourceful faculties with in-house maintenance of systems.
The centralized food court of Trident Group of Institutions providing round-the-clock breakfast, lunch and other refreshments and dinner. Separate canteen and cafeteria facilities are available for TAT and TACT. Whereas the TAT canteen serves South Indian Snacks and breakfast along with Oriya style lunch, the cafeteria provides dry snacks.
Facilities for curricular activities include separate seminar halls for each department.
The college has outsourced the transport facility, A dedicated fleet of buses has been provided by the operator and these buses ply in five different routes picking up students from designated bus stops across the city.
Wi-Fi connectivity has been provided to all the academic blocks, hostels, and free spaces using high-end Motorola AP 6511 for Indoors and Motorola AP 6532 and Motorola AP 6564 for outdoors. After office hours, the entire internet bandwidth is made use of by students in the hostels.
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
