Memorise as many formulae as you can and write them down and stick them as post its so that you can always see them. Practise regularly and try various kinds of questions. Solving previous papers and mock tests to test your improvement. Keep a clock and check the time its taking you to solve these questions. And improve the time as you practise more. Organic comprises of many reactions and reagents which can be practised by writing over and over again. Physical chemistry requires a comparatively deeper understanding of concepts, so preparing with the NCERT and referring to study material a level higher than NCERT should be the way to go. Preparation tips:

Biology is the biggest section in NEET, comprising about half of the exam, and acing this subject can help you in scoring more in the exam. Human Physiology and Genetics have maximum weightage in NEET. It is advisable to practise questions of Genetics from previous year question papers, which will give you a thorough understanding of how the questions are being asked. Topics of Plant and Animal kingdom have a lot of portion to memorize. You can prepare these topics by making a comparative table for the sub-topics and studying it together. Plant physiology is also equally important and easy to score. For more tips, please visit our page at:

Hello Rituparna ,
The minimum eligibility criteria for NEET Ug,AIIMS ,JIPMER  is passing in the 10+2 examination level with min of 50%  for unreserved category and for SC , ST and OBC is 40 % and for pwd is 45% .Hope this is helpful and thank you .

We cannot predict the cutoffs of coming years right? But yes cutoff did exceed a lot from 2018 going into 2019 due to reason like number of candidates had increased and also the paper level was called easy comparatively. And when all exams get merged, there will be a further increase in competition again as well, so the cutoffs might increase too. Anyways mention your state or a particular college, so we can provide you with its cutoff of previous years.. In general thinking, cutoffs for government colleges you need to get 550 and above to get one and to get the best, you need to go as much as almost 600 and even 630+ sometimes.

Best wishes. Thankyoh.

To set up common standard across the candidates in the country, was the actual aim of neet being the only common entrance examination. So there will be no change in the selection criteria. Like other governmental and private medical colleges, AIIMS and jipmer these colleges will have their own cutoffs out of 720 in neet.

Thankyou.

First of all, there are no AIIMS and JIPMER exams from this year. Everything is centralized by NEET exam only. For neet, you can go with Irodov or DC Pandey force physics, Arihant, Neet champion or GRB for chemistry and Pradeep for biology. Reading ncert for all the 3 subjects is must admit well.

Best wishes. Thank you.

Chaitanya, NCEET books alone will not be enough. You may have to read from other books as well. Here, we shall help you with the syllabus, best books and preparation tips as well.

Hello.

No doubt there will be a common entrance for pursuing further studies in a medical college i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER are no more a separate exam. They are included under NEET which will be conducted by NTA in May 3rd 2020. But there is no change in the exam pattern. It is an offline exam ,pen and paper based. There will be 180 questions.90 questions from biology and 45 questions each from physics and chemistry with a total of 720 marks. Each correct answers is awarded with 4 marks and -1 for each wrong answer. Time duration is 3 hours.

I hope this information has solved your doubts. Thank you.

Hello,

NEET will be common entrance test for admission to MBBS Course from 2020.

Till 2019-2020, there was NEET and AIIMS and JIPMER conducted their own entrance test. But, this is going to change from 2020 onwards.

So, to answer your question, NEET will be common entrance test for 2020-2021 onwards.

Hello there!

Greetings!

No , in 2020 , there will be no Aiims ug entrance or jipmer entrance exam as these exams have been included in neet now , so candidates need to prepare for neet only and need to give neet exam only as now neet is the only gateway to all the  medical colleges of India.  Even admission in aiims and jipmer will be through neet only. I think it clears all your doubts.

Thankyou
