Dear Aspirant,

As per the latest announcements, AIIMS and JIPMER are merged with the NEET from 2020. So in the NEET 2020, there is inclusion of both of these exams and there will be no separate exam for AIIMS and JIPMER. Admission to both of these colleges and other medical college will be through NEET rank.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Hello Yash,
Hope you are doing well.
There are very less possibilities of such activity that is increase in marks for eligibility criteria.
And for this we have to wait little bit more so that official information is out
Good luck

Hello dear student,

Dear student is exams will not be conducted separately as I hope you are aware scraped off from the shelves. Now only one exam which is Neet will be conducted and NTA will conduct NEET 2020. And this will be life from this session which is 2020. So no separate exam of AIIMS and jipmer will be taken place. It's been done for the benefit of the students so that they have to prepare only for one exam and not different and many exams. I hope this is helpful to you

Best wishes

Sakshi, From 2020, there will be no more AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS. It is NEET alone. AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS are not merging with NEET. Instead they are being scrapped off. If you are planning on appearing for NEET 2020, this might help you:

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
  • No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
  • You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
  • 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.
  • NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible

IMPORTANT DATES:

Registration Dates: 2nd to 31st December, 2019
Downloading of Admit Cards: 27th March, 2020
Date of Examination: 3rd May, 2020
Date of Announcing Result: 4th June, 2020

AIIMS and JIPMER have been scrapped off in favour of NEET and not the other way round. So it is unlikely that NTA will change NEET's exam pattern. May be AIIMS and JIPMER will conduct theri separate admission process by conducting further rounds but NEET will not have a  changed exam pattern. This is because AIIMS has approximately 1500 seats and JIPMER 200 seats. But across India, almost  90,000 MBBS seats also are filled through NEET. So bringing in a change for 1700 odd seats is unlikely. As of now, NEET has 180 questions in the form of MCQs. Physics and Chemistry have 45 questions each and Biology has 90 questions. Every correct answer gives you 4 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark.

It might be some misunderstanding with you.  Yes you are right. AIIMS and JIPMER have been scrapped from this year and all of them come under single entrance exam that is NEET 2020. so you just have to fill the application form for neet and that's it which will commence from 2nd of December up-to 31st of December 2019. The neet exam will be held on 3rd of May, 2020.

Best wishes. Thank you.

Hello Ansh,
Hope you are doing well.
Good to hear you are appearing for NEET 2020. But from next year there is only one medical entrance that is NEET. No AIIMS or JIPMER will be help as both are merged with NEET.
Put all your effort to clear and scoring good marks in NEET.
Good luck

No. AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS have been scrapped in favour of NEET from 2020. This means even AIIMS and JIPMER will fill in their seats through NEET score. So if you are planning on seeking admission for AIIMS or JIPMER, you have to appear for NEET. For the benefit of you and lakhs of aspirants, we shall detail the registration process.

Dear Aspirant,

This is the first time so we can not say for sure how the pattern will change and how the admission will be. However, one thing can be sure that AIIMS will be first preference of the students and therefore only the top rankers will be given seats in AIIMS.

You should right now focus on your preparation and not on the results after that. If you are among the top rankers then you will definitely the college you like.

hope this helps. Thank you.

Hello there!

Greetings!

Dear now there will be no more jipmer exam as both aiims and Jipmer have been merged with neet so you don't need to prepare for jipmer and aiims anymore just prepare for neet examination only . For neet examination,  you can practice mcqs from books like ncert at your fingertips for neet for each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And then completing these, you should practice mcqs from past 31 year neet-aipmt paper books by Arihant for each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Thankyou
