The placement of the college are so much good rated and although it should be because of the hardwork and the most competitive environment.we all the work hard so that we could be placed at good place.
The fees which is being paid by us to the college is so appropriate and suitable and also it is so much affordable this is why most students are able to purse the courses and fulfil their dreams and chase them.
The campus is so much nice and huge that is its is being capable of offering to much different opportunities to the students so that they would be able to explore the most of the fields that are interested in.

Aiims have the best infrastructure in whole Delhi for medical College for sure it has been the best among all medical Colleges all the facilities provided here are best and everything is given to students for facilities
The quality of teaching here in the AIIMS is best and the curriculum is updated and includes all the development in the field of medical for sure and here we experience alot of things which makes us learn more
The quality of placement at our college AIIMS is best this is the best college not only in delhi but in whole india and here the doctors earn highest salary among all the pay is really good as a doctor here
The infrastructure is good but old as AIIMS was established in 1956. However, there is a huge scope of improvement in infrastructure with respect to digitalization, modernized classrooms, and pedagogy mechanisms.
The non-clinical and para-clinical subjects like pathology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry, microbiology and PSM are taught well. However, there is irregularities in classes for core Optometry and eye care related subjects. There is no specific tutor for teaching Optometry at AIIMS, Delhi and hardly a few Ophthalmology professors show interest in taking classes. Technicians from non-academic cadre are involved in classes and examinations and individuals from non-administrative cadre manage (mis-manage) the course. The updated curriculum is never implemented since two decades or more till date. In name of practical, students are directly involved in patient care and experiments on patients, sometimes even without any supervision and guidance. In absence of qualified workforce, students are made as Leave Reservists (LR) and even involved in reducing the work load of Dr. R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, Delhi. Examination system is non-transparent and viva voice are often filled with favouritism. When any student try to raise issues and complaints of academic irregularities, course mis-management and favouritism, accountable authorities start defaming and threatening students for marks, degree, project and jobs. Two famous Hindi proverbs describe how our dreams are killed and the mental health impact on students- "Naam Bade aur Darshan Chote" and "Unchi Dukan Feeke Pakwan"
There is no placement assistance provided at the institute. Most of the students are left alone to find something for their own. Majority of Ophthalmologist restrain from teaching and imparting placement necessary skills to Optometry students, because of perceived notions of Medicl Supremacy and Class-based discrimination plagued over the medical system.
The course is mostly sponsored by the central government. The whole 4 years course price including academics, examination, hostel and other facilities just amount within Rs. 2000. The food is also available at a very affordable cost in all the canteens and messes. Apart from this a generous amount is also paid as a stipend to the students during all 4 years of the course.
Campus life is filled with a lot of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and has a lot of amenities for student support 24 x 7. However, when it comes to utilization of all the facilities at the campus, there is an observable clear cut discrimination between the MBBS and non-MBBS students.
A prestigious institute like AIIMS, Delhi which comes in top rankings of medical colleges in Asia and Globally has an immense potential to generate world's best Optometrists. However, the Optometry course is plagued by medical supremacy, class based discrimination, favouritism, mis-management and high level of irregularities. It create a huge mental health impact among students, who become mute spectators of the acts of all the powerful positions inequitabley dominated by doctor fraternity.
While the overall college structure is good but for optometry department is worst because there is no particular class room, no wet lab for practice , lack of communal area for student collaboration, differentiation in mess facility , no dedicated canteen area, no wifi facility
Academics is worst ever , they don't want to teach us because they have fear we will not learn practice. Even they doesn't assign specific tutor .From more than 15 years our curriculum is not updated yet.
The concept of placements seems to be non- existing. They only give admission to students for labour work & after the completion the course doesn't care to us. It lacks the desired opportunities & supports for students entering the field.
We dont spent so much money in this course because we came through entrance exam .
Campus & hostel Life is good . We enjoy alot with our friends but there is some unfair facility & restriction between mbbs & other bsc courses
In this course there is so much need revolution. From this we feel superior & inferiority complex , anxiety & depression because we see our future in darkness.
AIIMS is India most prestigious institute. Infrastructure is world class. Every facility is available like classrooms, library, separate hostel for boys and girls. 24*7 wifi facility is available. Latest technology in medical field will be available .
I was studying B.Optometry in batch 2018-2022. All classes taken by Professor or senior residents, who has good practical and theoretical knowledge. Curriculum is updating every time according to advancement in medical field.
As it is a medical college, there is nothing like placement. But there you can join as a contractual Optometrist after completing your course. For permanent joining there you have qualify AIIMS recruitment exam.
Fee is very less . You will also get monthly stipend 500, and in internship you will get above 10000 stipend monthly. Hostel fee is also very less or you can see none.
Campus life is best .
