The DU and JNU appellation form for PG admissions is not yet released. The University of Delhi was supposed to start the DU PG 2021 admission process from the month of May in online mode but it is not yet released. National Testing Agency will release JNU 2021 application form in June in the online mode. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. There is a delay due to the ongoing pandemic the application from could release at anytime.

As per the eligibility criteria for MA in History program offered by JNU. the candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 education pattern with at least 50% marks in aggregate of all the subjects but you are in education patter of 10+3+2 so there is contradiction between both the conditions, and also on the other hand Diploma is considered as equivalent to 12th according to which you should be considered as eligible for MA in History program. The officials have not yet released both JNU OR DU application form. The dates are not yet released yet. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. There is a delay due to the ongoing pandemic. It is expected that the application forms will be released in the month of June but the exact date is not known. National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JNU 2021 admission form in June. Delhi University admission will commence with the release of the DU application form 2021, in online mode. Aspiring candidates can fill the applications for DU admissions 2021 at du.ac.in tentatively from July 15, 2021. Delhi University admission will release of the DU application form 2021 in online mode at du.ac.in tentatively from July 15, 2021.

The process of hostel allotment process in JNU depends on various factors given below:
Firstly, upto 22.5% (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST, (interchangeable, if necessary) and 3% of the seats in the hostels are reserved for the SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates respectively. All SC (Boys and Girls) except residents of Delhi will be provided hostel. The SC/ST/PH students are exempted from payment of hostel fee (room rent). This is applicable only to those SC/ST/PH students who are not in receipt of fellowships/ scholarships and whose parents/guardians income is under Rs. 75,000/- per annum.
The criteria for allotment of hostel accommodation by the University is as under :
First Priority
(a) Students admitted to a full-time Programme of study and who have passed their qualifying examination from places outside Delhi and are not resident of Delhi excepting those who are admitted to a level at which the student already has a degree or has pursued studies in JNU (at the same level) with hostel accommodation.
(b) Students who have passed their qualifying examinations from Delhi but have stayed in recognized University/College hostels and are not resident of Delhi, subject to their furnishing documentary evidence alongwith hostel application from the Head of the College/Institution to the effect that he/she had been a resident student.
(c) Students who have passed their qualifying examinations from Delhi institutions by making their private arrangements for accommodation but at the same time do not have their family residence in Delhi subject to their furnishing a documentary evidence to the satisfaction of the University authorities.
Second Priority
Outstation students who are admitted to a programme at the level at which the student already has a degree or has pursued studies in JNU (at the same level) with hostel accommodation.
Third Priority
Fifth semester of two-year M.A. and M. Phil. 9th semester Ph. D. and local students in that order. Admission to the local students when provided will be only for the duration of the current academic session strictly and such students would be required to surrender the hostel accommodation latest by 31st May of the Academic Session.
