NDA stands top in terms of facilities. There is no compromise with facilities. NDA has the world's largest canteen. Labs, classrooms and library are wonderfully maintained. In NDA, cadets have to deal with many sports activities. Therefore, medical facilities are well-maintained.
Faculty members in our college are good. Exams are fine, and teachers are good. The course curriculum is fine. At the end of the day, it is you who has to study. Due to the online mode cause of corona, we had all classes on G meet or zoom classes bit they all were on time and punctual.
We don't have placement cell but our professor and vc were trying to get some great companies for placement and every seat is filled here and if you need to do only b tech you can exit this integrated course and leave but b tech degree and you will be given options in m tech like MS in economics, MS in Korean studies and m tech in computer Science etc.
Good infrastructure.
Infrastructure is overall good, in my opinion. There is a big library, named Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Library, and every centre has its own library. The Wi-Fi facility is also available here for free. The quality of food is good, hostels are good and the mess fee is manageable.
Teachers are very cooperative and friendly. Yes, the course is kind of relevant but they can always make it better. The teaching method can be improved. Semester exams are not difficult if you study properly from the start.
JNU has a placement cell that provides information regarding current empty seats or required positions in top-notch companies as well as companies with good packages. The highest package given is up to 75,000 and the lowest can be up to 30,000 yearly. That is good.
College is very good.
There are many facilities in campus, including Wi-Fi, hostels, library, reading room, stadiums, etc. Everything is up to par. You can take a walk in night here due to the trees. I like the environment here. The people are very good and the food here in the cafe is also very cheap and affordable.
Good teachers are very cooperative here and very good; they teach in a very good and effective way. They explain very well, and they take tests every week. They even help you get admission to further studies and jobs. I love JNU very much and the teachers here are also great.
JNU is a solid track for placements companies from India who come here to promote them and recruit many students from here. There are many languages here like Korean, Chinese, Russian, etc. So the companies also come here often .
It's a very good University
Campus is well equipped with all tthe required infrastructure. In school of language that i study in has audio and language labs for better practice. JNU also has one of the biggest libraries in India, which I find to be the best of all facilities.
I'm studying B.A. German Hons. and the course is awesome with great professors and good curriculum much different from other universities. Best thing about JNU is none other than the teaching standards and the faculty.
Although there's no proper placement cell in School of Language there's whatsApp groups with alumni and professors where we keep getting update about jobs, internships and scholarships. The seniors also mentor us regarding all this.
This the 2nd best if not the best thing about JNU. My semester course fees are Rs. 300 and hostel fees are about 3000/- per year excluding mess(food) charges which ranges from 2500/- to 4000 depending on the hostel. Also you get monthly scholarship of about 2000 if family income is below 250000/- per annum. ????
Campus life is great with no curfew time in hostels for both girls and boys we can go out anytime. Food is also available till about 3 AM iin time in the morning. So you can study till late in the library and then go for a bite or a walk.
The university is well-equipped with modern amenities. the library has a vast collection of books novels journals etc. The campus provides various facilities including sports grounds and cultural centers.
JNU provides a diverse range of academic programs across various disciplines including humanities social sciences natural sciences and languages. it encourages students to explore diverse perspectives and research.
JNU has a strong track record of placements, with students securing prestigious positions in academia, government, industry, and international organizations. It provides good networking opportunities for current students and recent graduates.
JNU is known for its relatively low tuition fees compared to other prestigious institutes in India.
JNU has a diverse student population, with students from all over India and even from foreign. Also, it has a long run of student activism and social engagement.
The infrastructure of the college, hostels, and mess is good. Food served at the mess is also good like home-cooked. Wi-Fi is available 24X7. The campus has a wide converge internet speed of around 60 to 150 Mbps. Labs are good and have well-maintained equipment. Everything about the infrastructure is excellent. Shops, banks, a medical center, and a post office are available. The college has a great location and is near a metro station in south Delhi. The college is the most prestigious in all India with always ranking in the top 5 for universities in NIRF.
Faculty members are performing well in their respective courses. They are well qualified and knowledgeable as expected. They are academics and will mostly concentrate to teach the students new things. Semester exams are difficult and students have to maintain a 6 CGPA to get a degree from JNU.
100% internships are provided. Students get placed in army, airforce, and navy. Boys who prefer Army are sent to Indian Military Academy (IMA), airforce in Airforce Academy, navy in Naval Academy etc. The course after NDA is of 1 year in their respective academics. After NDA, cadets are offered a pay scale during their training in the respective academics.
Good college in Delhi.
You could get access to some of JNU's other labs, which are one of their kind. The labs of School of Engineering are satisfactory. Recent plans to build a new building seem to make improvements in future. Other facilities like Wi-Fi and the library are just excellent. There are numerous canteens and dhabas within the campus, along with a health centre and a huge stadium.
The centre for Korean studies B.A. (H) Korean intake is 31. The center for Persian and central Asian studies intake is 15 and 31, respectively. The center for Arabics and African studies intake is 31. The center for Russian studies intake is 54. The center for German studies intake is 31. M.Sc in life science has 38 seats.
The first batch will be out in 2023. So it's uncertain about how good the placements could be. A placement cell is there at JNU, and we are hoping for better placement opportunities. But as of now, there is no such activity going on. Requests are being made from students about on-campus internship opportunities, but there is no proper response from our administration.
Superb college in Delhi.
Jawaharlal Nehru University Known for its academic excellence and Best central university of the India having a amazing campus with all the facilities are available .Campus is surrounded by a beautiful garden and trees which sense us greenery.
so from Starting days of my education i am interested in teaching profession so i decided to be a assistant professors thats why i am going to choose phd after i qualified for junior research fellowship. My guide was so helpful and knowledgeable.
I have completed my doctorate degree so for us we do not want any internship or placements opportunities because we got fellowship from indian governments but yes for others students who pursuing other courses from here got good internship.
Best NIRF college
Jawaharlal Nehru University which is situated in new Delhi the capital of India known for its excellence of infrastructure and the it's academic curriculum. The campus is very beautiful with all the facilities available like wi fi ,A library as well as a garden.
All the professors who taught here was very knowledgeable and helpful us in every situation.I personally feels that they were very helpful and supportive.I completed my doctorate degree in chemistry from here.My area of interest is NMR based metabolomics .
As we all know that who is pursuing PhD degree they think about assistant professor and want to be a lecturer in any university apart from that the placement is very impressive here.College management help everyone to get placed in companies.
Staffs and teachers are helpful.
The infrastructure is pretty good compared to other government colleges in the city. Laboratories are built with almost new technology. There is a Wi-Fi facility for students. Computers are accessible for students during working hours. Library also provided updated books. We got lots of facilities but quality of food was not good enough other than that other facilities like grounds are made for different types of sports which are practiced there and there is also canteen where you get many essential eating items the medical facilities were good.
I am doing MCA from JNU and i have chosen this course because I like it and i need to get more knowledge of this department and to practice more practical work on the IT field. The best thing about this course is to start getting knowledge about advanced things which is required in big jobs like google, Amazon, Netflix , etc. The curriculum is up to date but our college should provide more study materials and subjects related guide for practical knowledge. Teachers are good, they tell us some industry related details time to time. Yes the course is a job oriented as it is a demanding and trending field.
I have heard from my seniors and also I saw that the students enrolled in MCA in JNU are all studios and intelligent. Almost 90% of campus placements are carried out in our college and each student (seniors) works hard for their campus preparation and also most of the students are able to crack big jobs in companies like TCS, Amazon, google, etc, 99%of our seniors were placed from there only, the average salary was 10lakh and max salary went upto 24lakh per annum.
With 81.69 percentile in JEE Main under the General EWS category, getting ECE in JMI, AMU, JNU, or NIT Hamirpur would be quite difficult. For these institutes, the cutoff for ECE usually stays higher, often above 90–95 percentile for EWS candidates. JMI and AMU tend to have competitive cutoffs because of limited seats, while JNU and NIT Hamirpur also require a higher percentile. However, you still have good chances in other NITs, IIITs, or state-level colleges where the cutoff percentile is comparatively lower.
