I live in Jhelum hostel and hostel is full of facilities with mess and library also included. The hostel is like our home and it seems like students live in the home. Our classroom is also well maintained and clean. The classroom has full facilities for the board, watch, and any other equipment.
Our faculty members are very helpful, kind, and friendly. The exam is conducted on regular basis. If someone is not present in the exam, extra time is given to that student, so faculty members and exam patterns are also helpful for students. The curriculum is also simple.
Most students do not wish to be placed as JNU itself is a life time placement. There is complete freedom to do anything. One can eat anything, drink anything smoke anything. In fact it is so free that everything is paid by people of India. Infrastructure, rooms etc. Its like 5 star property with just 10 rs a month. Food electricity every thing is Free. In fact you get paid for just passing time and enjoying discussing high level issues like How we can divide India in smaller states.
The facilities provided at JNU are really nice. The JNU campus is one of a kind in the country with lush green trees, flowers, birds, peacocks, and many more. The entire campus has high-speed Wi-Fi. And all the hostels have separate mess with a very good quality of food with varieties catering to students coming from different areas of the country.
JNU has one of the best faculty members in the country for research in sciences and social sciences. The semester exams are easy if one has followed the classes regularly. The p.hd Course requires in-depth knowledge of the readings. Only when you have read nicely can you answer and score well.
There is no placement cell in JNU for But a degree from JNU would surely add a feather to your CV which will make you an outstanding student when you apply to any institute of social development or social work, NGO, UN organization, or any other research organisation.
The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has well-equipped libraries, advanced research laboratories, modern classrooms, etc. They provide extensive campus amenities for students and faculty. The food served in the mess and canteen is good.
JNU is a prestigious university in India known for its strong academic programs and faculty members. The university typically hires highly qualified professors and faculty members with relevant academic credentials and expertise in their respective fields. These qualities include Ph.D. and contribution to their respective disciplines.
JNU often finds employment in various sectors such as academics, research organisations, government bodies, international organisations, media, and civil society. Many students from JNU pursue higher studies, including Ph.D. programs in reputed institutions.
The curriculum of the course is very rigorous, and there are very good hostel and mess facilities. The rooms are not that good, but the mess facilities here are satisfying. There are badminton courts behind the hostel, and hostel nights are organised here. There is a special dinner at the end of the month.
One the best things of JNU is, its faculty. Faculty is so helpful and kind towards the students. They encourage students to do their best. There are some extra curriculum activities like cricket tournament and badminton and so forth. You give 3 exams per semester .
If you look at the point of placement, you will be slightly disappointed because there is a placement cell in JNU. So we should do this on our own. If you have completed your graduation, you would get a job worth 6 lacs per annum. You can be an interpreter and translator .
One of the best college in india
All facilities are inexpensive and they are far too good for first and second-year students. Hostel fees are quite low, and mess fees are the same everywhere. There are many hotels and canteens available on our campus and they are open 24×7. The library is too large and good.
The curriculum is difficult compared to other colleges. It is followed by JNU. It is the same as IIT Delhi. All faculty members are below average. You have to study yourselves. college ground is also very big .
The highest salary package offered is 31 LPA. Around 2-3 students got paced with a salary package of 21 LPA. Some students got placed with a salary package of 11 LPA - 16 LPA. Placements are average in our college. Placements will increase in the future.
Big infrastructure and very good college.
The infrastructure of the college, hostels, and mess is good. Food served at the mess is also good like home-cooked. Wi-Fi is available 24X7. The campus has a wide converge internet speed of around 60 to 150 Mbps. Labs are good and have well-maintained equipment. Everything about the infrastructure is excellent. Shops, banks, a medical center, and a post office are available. The college has a great location and is near a metro station in south Delhi. The college is the most prestigious in all India with always ranking in the top 5 for universities in NIRF.
The teachers are all well-qualified and knowledgeable. I found the best teachers in NDA. The cadets opting for airforce and navy are provided with B.Tech courses. They are made physically and mentally fit. If cadets do hard work, semester exams are not a big deal.
The first batch at this college hasn't still passed out but as of now they are having good internship programs and are doing well. Students are getting well paid and the stipend is good. But rest assured college pass out from this university are ruling this country and have good placement.
Superb infrastructure and good college.
JNU campus life and infrastructure is too good it is full of joy and also education. JNU known about its socializing. There are so many clubs which is related to education and extra cariculm activities.
Overview:The course structure is comprehensive as I am from a language course so for me it's quite hard to manage alongwith the optional course that is compulsory in graduation. The faculty is equipped with the language lab for the audio and visual experience to the students. The exams are conducted on the regular basis, 4 exams including first sessional second sessional mid term and end sem. The difficulty levels depend on the Professors mood.
About 60% or above 60% of the students can get placed from our course. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month, while the highest salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month. About 60% or above 60% of the students do internship in the company or hotel based on their choice. Students can become a chef general manager and restaurant manager. By doing this course, students can open a restaurant.
Best central University
Campus may be small, the faculty is good, and the college organizes various festivals and inter-college competitions, ensuring an engaging campus life. There are well-maintained and hygienic canteens, including three canteens, a cafe, a Nescafe outlet, an open canteen.
Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable, and most of the staff was pretty supportive. The teaching quality of most of the teachers was very good. If you pay attention in the classes, then you are going to learn a lot.
The placement in the university campus is average and students whose attendance is above 75 percent are allowed to attend placement rounds. Companies came for placement are average rated and the package goes around 6 to 8 lakhs per annum.

Hope it helps with your query. Good luck.
Hello aspirant,
With internal security, guards, and CCTV in numerous places, DU and JNU are typically safe and secure campuses, particularly during the day. However, occasional instances of theft, harassment, or altercations may happen, usually late at night or outside of campus areas, much like at any large public university.
